Dr Crokes vs S'neil

Tight first half. Two nice goals and a few nice points. Is it just me or are Crokes fouling an awful lot?

100% agree very cynical in my opinion.

Was building up to be a great game until the stupid sending off. Referee had no choice. Slaughtneil still in with a good shout but game has been entirely different in second half so far.

Both teams playing well but Crokes are fouling constantly and the ref is letting them away with it. Slaughtneil trying to run the ball but it's orchestrated pulling, tugging and 'stop the man' through whatever means necessary.

Some stoic defending from Crokes, messy wides by SN, struggling with their style of play on a big pitch but giving it a right go.

Think Crokes are only ahead on nous.

Crokes getting away with awful pulling, dragging and cynical fouling. Deegan letting them away with it

Very cynical.

Fouling at every opportunity and now have every man behind the ball.

Every man behind the ball I've no issue with, Donegal and other northern teams invented that. But fouling constantly is illegal and cynical and it's well rehearsed and intentional today. Still, Crokes are smart, organised and a well conditioned outfit and up for the battle with a tough Slaughtneil team

That's the worst type of supposed 'Nordie puke football' from crokes in last quarter of the game, awful stuff!

Warms the heart to see Gooch finally win this elusive medal, it's been a long long road the Crokes travelled to get here.

First Kerry senior All Ireland champions since Laune Rangers in 96.

Fair play to them and please God Gooch will be seen in Croke Park again this summer.

Congrats to Crokes a very contained, expierenced and disciplined performance.

You would have to fell for SN in many ways they didn't deserve to be beaten, but were with their boots on, felt the bigger pitch wore them out, shot selection wasn't great and they were prone to rushes of blood to the head. Very spirited permormence and can be proud of the performance and achievement this year.

Lovely gesture by Crokes with Amy O Connor, would melt the year.

Great for Gooch and congrats to all involved, but the way that game was won was drastic.

Congrats to Crokes and to the Gooch

It was a good first half

Unfortunately the game was ruined by a moment of absolute daftness

But I feel for him, but he had to go.

Well done to Dr Crokes, they are All Ireland Champions and the Gooch has his club medal. They also beat an Ulster team in the final, so I doubt there will be much complaining in Killarney. However lets call a spade a spade, it was a cynical peformance from the Crokes. There plan seemed to be disrupt the oppostion as much as possible, and after the sending off, became a basketball team. The ref was very one sided I thought, and maybe was swayed by the fact this was a Kerry team. Football is very hard to watch at the minute, the second half was brutal. Cynical tactics are now normal throughout the country.

Crokes really do play football the right way .

The propaganda will continue .

Ulster sides get labelled but everyone is the same . Crokes' full forward line all playing as full backs.

The lies will continue .

Well done on winning but cut out the rubbish .

It's a terrible thing to be insulting Irish people on our patron saints day, but my God most of ye are such stereotypes.

Ulster posters going off on one about Crokes when it was their opponents that finished with 14 men (courtesy of a punch in the balls), and most of Crokes scores were courtesy of frees.

But no, it was Crokes that were the cynical side.

Yer some shower...

May not have been great to watch, but Crokes have been on the receiving end numerous times. You do what you need to do to win. Great to see Gooch finally win it, if anyone deserves a medal its him. One of the all time greats.
