What are the rules about who is allowed onto the pitch? Maor uisce, and dochtiur? I don't see anywhere it says the manager and his selector can run onto the pitch whenever it pleases them. sneachta (None) - Posts: 414 - 26/05/2013 17:35:54 1391616 Link 0 |

Every time the ref blew the whistle, the Donegal manager and selector were in on the field. Ridiculous!! MARNELL (Westmeath) - Posts: 728 - 26/05/2013 17:38:52 1391621 Link 0 |

Honestly was about to set up a thread about this exact issue, You don't see it from many other managers, But McGuinness is always at it. When we went up to Ballybofey back in April , He came on to the middle of the pitch. Its unacceptable, He should stay on the touchline and that's it, If not your right he (Or any other manager in breach of that) should be sent to the stand. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13659 - 26/05/2013 17:40:11 1391624 Link 0 |

Agree, I commented it on just there on the Donegal v Tyrone thread, Ridiclous..I dont know why mangers dont take up a seat in stands like the Cork Manager, Counihan. See way more, have a better view. crossfieldball (Galway) - Posts: 650 - 26/05/2013 17:49:22 1391651 Link 0 |

Yes 100% agree!! Sent up to the stands and if they break it fined and a suspension for a couple of matches in the stand. You send 15 lads out there to do the business not to join them. Only Doctors, Physio's and Maor Usice!! Jackos_Wacko (Kerry) - Posts: 417 - 26/05/2013 17:53:49 1391655 Link 0 |

Its tactical and its has the purpose of influencing the mindset of the officials. Its also im pretty sure illegal but to date has gone unpunished. seany16 (Dublin) - Posts: 1663 - 26/05/2013 17:56:43 1391661 Link 0 |

Referees do need to penalise with 13m more often. They do it in rugby and aussie rules and it really punishes a team for indiscipline sneachta (None) - Posts: 414 - 26/05/2013 21:00:32 1391962 Link 0 |

Donegal are experts on Encroachment, anytime their player is fouled,2,3 bodies from sideline are running onto before referees blows for foul. This puts pressure on referee to issue a card.Rory Gallagher Donegal selector is the main culprit. Was roaring in linesman ear throughout game today, was at same stuff in league game against Dublin.Havent seen CCC take any action against him before.
