Kerry V Donegal

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I believe we are jn for a magnificent game ! Donegal have played some great football this year , with back 2 back Ulster titles .mayo last week looked a shadow pf what they were, they have given so much , and watching Kerry, well they looked real serious outfit, it will be quite cagey in the first 20 mins, i actually fancy Kerry ti take the 2 points , their looking lean and hungry . Kerry by 3

Ooooooh go handy bud, can I ask what county are you from?

There is concessions in cusack stand. Jeez no pleasing everyone

On paper best game of the weekend by a mile.

Be very interesting to see what the Donegal full back line tries to deal with the threat of Clifford and Geaney after their performances against Mayo, especially given the fact that Donegal have moved well away from the defensive system.

Elsewhere the matchup between Moran and Murphy could be a good one, a chance for Murphy to earn even more praise if he puts in another performance like the rest of the summer so far, and Moran played a similar type of role in Kerry's win over Mayo particularly from the kickout.

Biggest question mark of all is still Kerry's defence, they handled Mayo reasonably well but to be fair Mayo shot themselves in the foot a lot going forward, real test will be with McBrearty, Jamie Brennan and then Murphy running in from midfield.

Should be a cracker anyway!

I have to admit we shouldn't have come away with that one, but then I still feel we left 2011 behind us

are and Kerry have no chance Donegal are no world beaters
watched them against Meath porus enough at the back with a
bit of cuteness Meath should have had a few more goals Meath
backs played very well until they ran out of steam
if you think for a minute that Ryan Mchugh is going to be running
up the field think without anyone putting a hand on him
i was listening to the same hype in 14 how many goals Donegal
would get against the Kerry backs how would they come with Mchugh
we know who scored the goals and we know how Mchugh went
shall i say anymore"
I think last Sunday's team had 4 of the 2014 in the starting 15 - do you see this as a 2014 rematch /it's a bit like trigger from fools and horses and his same brush

Toughest one to call yet, if Kerry can replicate there performance in Killarney you'd have to fancy them but Donegal look a more solid outfit from what I've seen so far. Draw.

That lad hasn't a bulls notion what he's talking about half the time and the other half he's complaining about the stuff he doesn't know. Sure you wouldn't want to be taking any notice of him.

Mayo never turned up last week so this is a real test for both. Murphy vs Moran could be epic.
( love the Brush analogy LOL)

would do to Kerry a similar thing could happen on
Sunday i wouldnt be too cocky if i were ye just because
ye won a few games yer backs didnt look great when Meath
put the heat on dont write off the Kerry boys

Nobody getting cocky in Donegal, trust me. You're the team to take on the Dubs so we will have a good rattle at yis on Sunday and see how it goes! Eoin Ban Gallagher with an ankle twist or break in training this week I'm after hearing. Not good if that's the case as the man is a lightening rod!

Eoghan Bán Gallagher has apparently picked up a serious injury in training and will be out for a length period. A huge loss for Donegal.

Who are the Donegal fans getting cocky?
