It will be a tight low scoring affair. It might end up in a draw which would probably suit both sides.

Where is Niall Sludden? Is he hurt?

Tight affair I'd say, giving bad weather as well which will keep the score down. Ballybofey is a difficult place to go. Tyrone by 2.

Tyrone have the advantage I think as we have more U21 lads from Wednesday night possibly playing this weekend and then next week Wednesday night again for the replay.. Something has to give! Donegal really only want safety in Division One and have probably already achieved that. Tyrone usually take a serious approach to the league and McKenna Cup and probably want to play Dublin in a league final to test themselves for later on. That's not to say Donegal won't give it their all, I just feel the U21 commitments after what happened Wednesday night might be a factor.

I concur with above. tHere is nothing at stake in this game really and to risk our u21s again in a game that is only for bragging rites would be a bit foolish. We are out again on wed night and are heavily reliant on these lads so I would be happy with a good performance and all into the dressing room at full time in good shape.

Just asking which u21's are guaranteed starters for the seniors?

Eoghan Ban Gallagher, Jamie Brennan, Michael Carroll and possibly Michael Langan would be starting. Jason McGee and Ciaran Gillespie are injured so unlikely to play this weekend or next Wednesday.

The problem for RG is that any potential replacements would be from the under 21 team as well. We dont really have any experienced back up unless Patrick McBrearty and Martin McElhinney are back.

By the way I was very impressed with Mulgrew on the Tyrone ubder 21 side, is he on the senior panel?

Mulgrew is a good player. I believe him and lee Brenan are been kept for the u21's. Hopefully join the seniors after u21 finished. Hopefully not to soon ;)

Hope we get a good hard game of football, and not a game like the puke football served up by dr crokes today.

For tomorrow's game or just in general? Not sure any would be guarenteed starters, but with a fully fit squad I'd say Eoghan Ban Gallagher, Micheal Carroll, Jason McGee and Kieran Gillespie could all be starters for the seniors come championship. Michael Langan and Jamie Brennan would possibly have been starting tomorrow night. Then you'd have Stephen McBrearty, Cian Mulligan, Rory Carr and Danny Rodgers on the bench as well

Mulgrew & Brennan are both in their 2nd year on the senior panel.

Why bring dr crokes into a discussion about a league game between Donegal and Tyrone.

Was Mulgrew no 23? Who was that lad he ran amok in the 2nd half

I meant they are been held back this year to play u21. Hence they haven't played for the seniors this year as yet.
Donegals younger players seem to have adapted well. Thompson looks the part and McGee looks set for a midfield role this year. I hear he's injured tonite though.

Conan McLernon. Very good when he came on. Should start the next day. McNabb was also good where he came on.

Think number 23 was Conor McLernon. From Moortown I think maybe one of the Tyrone lads can confirm. Very talented. Some man for the dummy!

With our senior and u21 managers not best of buddies I hope rory rests the u21 players to give them a proper chance for Wednesday.
If he does I can't see us getting a result tonight but it won't be for lack of trying and some others would get their chance.

I can't agree. If we have reached the stage that U21 players can't play two games in a week then I give up.

If they have anything about them, and I think they have, then they should be champing to play every game they can especially when things are going so well.
