These are supposed to be the aristocrats of Gaelic football?? Kerry football has become a slug fest, pulling and ragging and dirty hits,
far better game in Ballybofey in atrocious conditions.

Kerry the aristocrats of gaelic football sunk to a new low . But credit they nearly pulled it off they almost dragged, fouled and fighted there way to a result. Fair play to the dubs they kept there head and could have won it at the end.

Very unlucky to leave that one behind us. Not sure what Murphy was doing at the end with that free and by god did the Dubs get some soft frees. That one at the end on mcmenimin in particular was comical. Dean rock kept them in it all game with handy frees. if say both sides will be happy enough though.

Gives Kerry hope for the summer although it'll be two very different teams facing off if they meet I suspect.

McManaman was pushed in the back by Maher as he was about to kick. 100% free. I love good hard football but what Kerry had to offer in that first half was a sad indictment of were Kerry are at the moment they obviously had this game marked out for a while but the way they went about the game was horrible cynical fouling at every opportunity orchestrators of every little melee to slow the game down. How Crowley and Walsh seen out the game was beyond me. This game will the DUBS on a ton. Absolutely delighted with the way the Dublin players handled in face of such provocation i

A few soft frees on both sides! I thought the ref was very trigger happy with the cards.. after the second (barely even a) schmozzle, he should have brought both captains in and told them to rein their players in or the next offender would be put off... soften everyone's cough and let them actually play a bit of ball.
FWIW I think the biggest mistake the ref made tonight was NOT sending O'Gara off. In realtime it looked bad... on second viewing it was worse. Say what you like about what he brings/doesn't bring to the team in terms of dedication or skill but his discipline is very poor and a different ref on a different day or night could take a very dim view on that sort of "tackle"

Exactly - they tried every dirty trick in the book the stop the CHAMPS.

If it was Donegal or Tyrone at that stuff this site would be in meltdown...!

Exactly. A great draw in the circumstances. Was right in line with Crowley in the first half and how he stayed on the pitch is beyond me. Kerry had no intentions of playing football. Shockingly poor stuff. The young Dubs like Scully, McHugh, Carthy, Lowndes will have learned tonnes from this game. Great experience for us. We never say die. Great night out in Tralee so far and fair play tothe Kerry people for being so hospitable. Up the 34 game unbeaten Dubs!

Its all about the the titans of gaelic football, the two strongholds, the two best teams out there.

Noone outside of Tyrone and Donegal will bother watching that when Dublin v Kerry is on at the same time

:) :)"
Good man wayno.

I'd say by half time there were a fair few switching over to Donegal V Tyrone!!

Good post Jack...

The angels and saviours of Gaelic Football my Swiss....

That type of stuff will only get them so far. Lets see how good they are against a full strength Dubs team with Jack, James McCarthy, Jonny Cooper, Connolly, Brogan and Costello to come back.
Not to mention Cian O Callaghan and a fit again Flynner...!

Our players should great resolve and self control.

On the other side of the coin - will someone please show O'Gara how to tackle. He is gonna cost us if he keeps at that nonsense like that tackle at the end.

Dubs didn't fancy a bit of a battle on a heavy pitch n Tralee an had to call n da a team to dig dem out of a hole. Means very little for da summer bar showing kerrys lack of scoring power and da gap between dubs top players an their 2nd string.
It'll b additions off da Kerry u21s that'll b da difference if Kerry r goin to take da dubs later n da yr.

I couldn't make it to our match due to external circumstances so I caught the Dublin - Kerry match .

Thought Kerry were very cynical tonight.

Dublin , yet again pulled off a brilliant recovery.

People can say what they want about Dublin but their never say die is commendable .

An amazing Dublin side .

Congrats on your record . Well deserved .

He wasn't fouled. What exactly did Dublin show here bar dean rock popping over soft frees? What did Dublin score from play? Genuinely got lost in it.

Will bring both teams on though. Agreed. Hope we meet again in the summer.

How da F were Dublin supposed to score from play when Kerry did everything in their power to disrupt them. There's a reason Rock got 9 points. Kerry fouled systematically

They showed plenty of resolve not to get drawn into Kerry's horrible tactics what this game proved to me is that Kerry know they can't compete or beat this Dublin team playing football and they have to rely on the dark arts and a sympathetic referee who allow the persistent cynical fouling to go unabated. Look at the McManaman free again friend and you will see it was a free..then again some people just can't see what's staring them in the face.
