Replying To Green_Gold:  "I am amazed that anyone would think this Donegal under-21 team are not good to watch. They have put up some terrific scores against some very tight Ulster defences. This team do not take a backward step. I suppose its a case of give a dog a bad name. Our senior team have not been attacking enough in the past couple of seasons, something RG has acknowledged himself and is trying to rectify but the under-21 side cannot be accused of that.

It should be a great match against Dublin and really looking forward to it. It's probably a big step up for both teams in terms of what they have faced so far in their province. I haven't seen Dublin play, do they play in a similar style to the senior team?"
Seen them play a couple of times and was speaking to a few at their semi final win over Longford. I was impressed when I seen them both times. They played a poor Westmeath team in dreadful conditions and put up quite a decent score despite leaving plenty behind them. Against Offaly they were very clinical when turning over Offaly in possession especially in the second half. It promises to be a decent game and very hard to gauge how good Dublin are given quality of opposition in Leinster and how they compare to the Ulster sides Donegal faced. I think Derry were a better team than either Offaly or certainly Westmeath. From reports of the Longford game I believe Longford done well and were in the game for the majority of the match but Dublin got the crucial scores at the crucial times. Much of the plaudits have gone to Con O'Callaghan who looks a good prospect but Aaaron Byrne was the player who caught my eye just as much.

Donegal requested the game be played a couple of days later but Dublin would not agree. 3 games in 10 days for Donegal now, crazy!

If true

Poor sportsmanship on our part

Disappointing to hear that

Donegal deserve to win off the back of that

First I've heard of it besides which I don't think it's any big deal.

These are young fellas who are raring to play football given that they are in a winning team that is going well. It should also be remembered that neither the Cavan or Derry games were dogfights with plenty opportunities to take fellas off before the end.

Besides which if they weren't playing they would be training & I know which I would rather be doing.

Yeah it's true enough alrite. It was on local radio today but that's the way it's gone now these days. I wouldn't blame Dublin really to be honest it's more croke park should have known to made the call in the first place.

Anyhow (excuses aside haha) it should be a fantastic game. Really looking forward to it :)

The semi-final dates were set months and months ago but because of one nights rain in March people are looking to get it changed - no wonder there is a problem sticking to a fixtures master plan in the GAA. 3 games in 11 days is hardly heavy going anyway, especially when the first 2 were very one-sided affairs.

Who's looking to get it changed, the Donegal county board?

Expect will see a Kerry/Donegal final. A repeat of the 2014 minor final. Kerry will beat Galway well. Donegal have the stronger team and Dublin over reliant on Con O'Callaghan

Ciaran Gillespie for Donegal is named at full back, back from injury. Excellent defender with senior experience last year. Be interesting to see will he actually start. Assume he is in to pick up Con O'Callaghan, a big threat himself

I wouldn't be counting my chickens against Galway, they have great pedigree at this level and we don't have much experience at this level for a while.

Going by the Donegal lads on here it's got to be a win for Donegal against Dublin you'd be thinking.

Wouldn't be any way mad confident of winning against Dublin. We have an excellent team but so have Dublin. It is Dublin after all! We have a great chance is how most Donegal people would probably feel

Was looking forward to seeing con o'callaghan today. That black card was right out of the Dermo Connolly book of black cards.
Looking for to a good afternoon of football thanks to tg4.

5-2. This Dublin team play more defensive than Donegal did in 2011.

this is terrible football
can Donegal not kick the ball
their slow hand passing game back and over
very poor display from them
their shooting is cat
Dublin have them well sussed
Dublin seem to better ball skills and movement

Well done Dublin. Better team today. Gluck in final. Some vgood underage players in both teams. Disappointed we didn't perform but hard to break down a well organised 15 man defense

Donegal looked tired and out of sorts in this match, but fixtures have been a bit crazy for them, but credit to Dublin, just can't stop this blue tide it seems.
