Always shout for Wexford when not playing Dublin, can't see that happening now! Brianmac78 (Dublin) - Posts: 1168 - 11/10/2016 19:33:13 1925070 Link 0 |
Doubt if a lot of shouting and cursing will bring Wexford back from the grave, bad move and waste of time! KerryKillers (Dublin) - Posts: 711 - 11/10/2016 19:43:15 1925079 Link 0 |
Ha ha! I think despite Davy i'll still cheer for them as my number 2 but i know what you mean :)

Haha I know what you mean brianMc, I didn't like Clare under Davy even though I am generally a fan of the banner county!

Dont like the way Davy was setting Clare up over the last year or so but no denying his success as a coach for LIT, Waterford and Clare. Not sure what success will be defined as - a Leinster title would be unreal and would mean he'd have to be regarded as one of the great hurling managers. It's amusing the way people make negative comments about Wexford's chances under Davy Fitz based purely on what they want to see. That's what fear does. Obviously a resurgent Wexford will be a threat to these poster's own countie's pipedreams. Sliotharyslope (Wexford) - Posts: 134 - 14/10/2016 08:53:35 1926047 Link 0 |
I would like to see Davy curb the sideline antics and remember he is an ambassador for the game and somebody who children admire and look up to. He should set good example and cut out the expletives - heat of the moment or not. Sliotharyslope (Wexford) - Posts: 134 - 14/10/2016 09:01:58 1926052 Link 0 |
Wexford hurling fans are some of the best in the country, would like to see them compete at the top level again. If Davy could win at least 1 unlikely All-Ireland with them like he did at Clare, he'd have to be respected for that but unfortunately I can't see that happening any time soon... Any word on how Davy and training is going with Wexford? CoolaBoola (Galway) - Posts: 18 - 31/12/2016 00:46:01 1942437 Link 0 |
your first sentence was spot on, your last one is incorrect - people just don;t like Fitz nothing to do with Wexford and certainly nothing to do with fear.

I'm sorry to hear this Wexford, hopefully it's short lived. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8571 - 01/01/2017 15:21:40 1942568 Link 1 |
I hear training going well, it is a bit mad that we were training at 4-5am over Christmas and fail to see how it matters, but I'll judge on the year as a whole, so hopefully in September!! Pinkie (Wexford) - Posts: 4100 - 06/01/2017 15:31:48 1943535 Link 0 |
