2001 limk v waterford i think we were 11 down in first half when the great john mullane and paul flynn ran riot,we ran riot ourselves later in the game to win it and if in my opinion it sowed the seeds of fragility in waterfords full back line

Someday only for Clem Smith doing John Mullane we would have been beaten. Begley made a mockery of the Waterford full back, Hartley?

Correct someday Wateford were 2-06 to 0-01 up and Limerick went on their own riot after that.

I guess sadly for Tipp we dont do many come backs. Only one that springs to mind is being in a tight game v Antrim in 2002 in more recent years!!

Before that Munster Final of 1991 will live long in my memory.Getting roasted in the first half think Cork had 3 goals scored in the first 10 minutes Tipp were all at sea.Nicky scored a great point off the ground and umpire waved it wide. Fox to the rescue with a goal and a point to draw it.

Replay speaks for itself in Thurles what a game.

Probably could say in 2006 against Limerick they got 2 goals at the start and I think led 2-02 to 0-02. Eoin Kelly went on to score 14 points. I was standing beside a young Limerick fan that day with his Dad and when Limerick got the second goal he turned to his dad and said " I think we have the fxxxxxxs this time Dad ". His dad told him to zip it as there was only 6 mins gone!!!Alone and behold he was right. I'd say the young fella never opened his mouth again so soon!!!!

Wexford, Coming back to beat the cats in leinster semi back in 2004 springs to mind.

One that springs to mind is 2001 qualifier v Donegal. Kildare down 1-5 early on. Came back to
win by a point with Ken Doyle scoring the winner from corner back. He didn't score many but that one won't be forgotten !

Old timers would say that Wexford's comeback from 16 points down in league final against Tipp in 1955 (?) was the greatest of all.

Meath v Roscommon in 1991. Tommy Dowd inspired comeback.

Roscommon v Sligo in 1998. 7 points down with 8 mins to play and Ros grab a draw, with Fergal O'Donnell introduced late on.

Funny you say that WP, i think Shaughs and Begley got early goals and i was thinking we will give them one today as ye had a shocking league also. Only for Redser we would have been beaten 20 points that day, he kept us in it! :-))))))))))))

What about the 1974 Ulster final, Down vDonegal Wasn't at the game but I think Donegal were something like 12 points down at one stage but came back to draw. In the replay Donegal were behind again ( was it nine points) but came back to win with a last minute goal. Can anybody give the true story of the two games?? But to do it not once but twice was some comeback.

Wexford v Meath 2008. Leinster championship.

Wexford were 10 points down with 20mins to go. Gave the ball to Mattie Forde and he did his thing.

Kerry V Cork in All Ireland football semi final in 2009/2010 I think. Cork were 7 points down with 4 or 5 minutes to go. They got a goal, and then a peno, and scored, they then got a point to level. Or something along those lines. This was against a really great Kerry team.
It was almost miraculous.

actually it was the 2008 All Ireland semi final on 24th August, between Kerry and Cork. The final score was Kerry 1-13, Cork 3-7. A draw. Cork came from 7 points down with 5 minutes to go. Against a really good Kerry team. Kerry won the replay. But lost the final to Tyrone.
