Rafterys of Corofin, is the greatest GAA pub I've ever been to in Galway or any other County for that matter. It's simply a shrine to the local club. The Portobello, near Rathmines, used to be a great Gaa pub also. It was a place where people from the Country would come to talk, watch and even play GAA with the local club, also called Portobello. Always had a big Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Clare crew....not sure if its as popular now as it used to be?

Duffy - Langtons doesn't really have much memorabilia at all, however, the players get fed their after training; all party their after all-irelands and you will often spot one or two of them in their on a weekend. A great pub and great supporter of the gaa but you wouldn't recognise it from its decor.

Ruanua- The Village Inn is still there and going strong. Larkins sweet shop is across the raod from the village inn beside Delaneys. I would buy a bag of taytos for 5p in larkins on my way up to De La Salle.
