Its a really good idea, lets hope so, its was a right bear pit when the hurlers played there last year, savage atmosphere, something the footballers should look at, but would mean restricting the crowds at football games. I had to check the date and make sure it wasn't the first of April :-) The dubs senior footballers will never play in parnell Park again unless it's some charity thing. Let's hope so. It would be nice to have some home games for a change instead of being forced to play at neutral Croke Park. Sure Cillian O'Connor and Anto Maher have played more games at Croke Park than some of our star players like Con, Howard and Murch. Would be great to be back at the Neller. Might be a good plan for other counties too to play games at smaller capacity grounds than their county grounds. If COVID restrictions were well observed and facilities good it'd mean a better atmosphere than a bigger emptier stadium, possibly improve the home advantage too.
