Intriguing league where relegation spells disaster. It looks very close this year with anyone of Kildare, Roscommon, Clare, Fermanagh, Armagh, Laois, Cavan capable of going on a run to win promotion but at the same time losing enough close games to go down. Westmeath would be aiming for mid table I'd say.

I see this as a three way race between Roscommon, Armagh and Kildare. Cavan will struggle but should have enough in them to scrape wins against Westmeath, Laois and one other. Wish Fermanagh the best of luck with our Ricey at the helm.

I'd pick Armagh to go up and one of Rossies and Kildare. Rossies have a few injuries and Murtaghs etc missing, Conor Cox out for four weeks too. Kildare very talented but inconsistent in fairness so were Armagh last year. Laois will struggle without Attride and the two Kingstons alot of pressure on O Carroll to get the scores. Clare missing Gary Brennan, Jamie Malone etc. Fermanagh no Quigley. Westmeath missing ger egan through injury. Be tight for relegation.

This one is very hard to call. I'll go with Kildare & Westmeath to surprise a few by going up. Laois and Clare for relegation. If Gary Brennan is still gone for Clare for the season they will struggle.

As a Westmeath man I'd be amazed if we went up. Seems far more likely that we'll be battling to avoid the drop to the Tier 2. First 3 games at home to Clare and Fermanagh and away to Cavan are key. Win a couple of them and we've a good chance of staying up.
I imagine Roscommon will be too strong for most teams in the division and go straight back up, and with Kildare to join them.

Kildare and roscommon for promotion, Clare missing brennan look like they'll struggle other relegation place 1 of laois, Westmeath, fermanagh. I'll go fermanagh.

Armagh - promoted, will out score pretty much all teams in this division and are strong in midfield.

Kildare - promoted, better manager and stronger panel than last year are rightly favourites for this league title

Roscommon - would be my tip for promotion but they have since lost their first choice keeper, a few key defenders, both Murtaghs have opted out and Cox injured.

Cavan - have been hit hard with opt outs but will still push hard for promotion just missing out

Fermanagh - will be hard to beat and score against, mid table finish

Clare - two important players gone but I think they might still survive.

Laois - might get a new manager bounce but will do well to avoid relegation

Westmeath - will need a fully fit Heslin to stand a chance of avoiding the drop.

I think Clare will be dark horses here to get promotion. Kildare will join them. Roscommon and Cavan to be relegated.

Yes ros could struggle without their only genuine decent forward- a Kerry man. Hard to see where scores will come from.

Ye never really have had a good manager since Tom Cribbin.

I'm not from Leitrim, no idea what you're talking about. Just giving my opinion. Don't know what a wurm is either

This is going to be a very tight and competitive division. Roscommon have very tough away games and are without Cox for at least the first 3. Kildare are probably favorites to win the division and Armagh won't be far behind them. We seen how close they ran Mayo last year, they have some terrific forwards. Cavan are like always tough to beat although they are without a few players to. Fermanagh had a good league last year and will be looking to push on again this year, with Ricey in charge they will certainly be competitive in every game. I'm hoping Roscommon can hit the ground running and get a good start and hopefully go back up but I'm tipping Armagh and Kildare to be promoted with Clare and Westmeath going down. Looking forward to the road trips again!

3 home games up first which we have to win,
if we have any chance of promotion especially with tricky away games to Armagh and Kildare.

Fermanagh look good. Can mark that down as a win for them
