Replying To TheUsername:  "Objectively i think he had a poor game the first game and was spooked, also think the semi and abuse he got in 16 played on his mind to, was horrible to see. Thought Connor Lane in the second game was the worst ive seen in a long time, although Maurice Deegan put in a really awful performance for Tyrone in the semi as well this year.

Refs can be got at if that is your way, but you have the hope quality on the pitch will always tell and you dont have to rely on the off field dark arts. I think over all it lowers the esteem and dignity of a county."
Yes, it was most unfortunate that Dublin had a referee removed - actually REMOVED - ahead of the Dublin Laois game in 2007.
It lowered the esteem and dignity of the county.

Need to be careful, before lads start charging rent. ;)

Why always does there have to be three Kerry lads, to make a personal insult, support group! ;)

Thank you for mentioning that.
Kerry are angels or so they would have everyone believe.

If a Dub player did it or an Ulster player for that matter, he would have be name checked in public immediately.

Dublin said nothing at the time.
It was beyond sickening to say something like that to a fellow player on the pitch.

Yes we should apologise lads. Would hate the poor guy to be forced to do a Connolly and 'take time away' from the forum due to the words of a Kerryman. Sensitive souls, these Dubs

Don't forget the targeting of Michael Donnellan in 2000 final. He was taken out by 5 kerry players at different stages. John O'Mahony said he never recovered from the injuries in that game.

That post just about sums ye up.

Condoning such behaviour when portraying yourself through the years as such great sporting icons.

What was allegedly said and were you there to witness this discussion? Was the discussion all one way or was it a two way thing?

Have already given my thoughts on pat Spillane, I have little time for him as a pundit. And we all know why DC took time away, nothing to do with Pat or anybody else for that matter as much as some would like to make out it was.

Ah come on you would never hear a Kerry man sledging in that manner about a Dublin player, please ignore the suggestive innuendoed post about Diarmuid Connolly above though.

Rather close your eyes repeat Gooch in your head over and over and convince yourself David Gough meets Bertie Ahern for a pint every other quiet Tuesday. ;)

Lads shouldn't put their fingers in people's eyes full stop,

I remember the RTÉ documentary where they had David coldrick micked up and you could hear as plain as anything coldrick saying to Philly that he was hanging off STAR all day yet coldrick did nothing not even a booking.
