Not 'baby whinngers', but the biggest shower of grown adult whinngers ever born!

Replying To 37sowhat:  "I would not judge all Kerry football followers on the five or six baby whingers who hog the Kerry forum Most of the ones I know down the years are knowledgable sporting people, of course they don't like being beaten but can and do acknowledge exceptional teams such as Roscommon of the 40s Cavan Down Galway Tyrone and this truly exceptional Dublin team You will always have the 'ref robbed us brigade' or themanager was to blame or the other lot had an unfair advantage fact of the matter 15 play 15 (from panel of 26 ) one team triumphs and if that team triumphs often they are acknowledged as the best of that particular era Comparing one era with another is a futile exercise Dublin in the decade about to end were/are truly amazing there is no shame in acknowledging that and fair play to the Mayos Kerry's and Tyrone's who manfully tried to knock the off the perch but 7 out of 10 says it all"
Good post 37, have to say i agree with you, i find Kerry's match going support very different to the traits represented by the vocal minority online, its a good reminder to separate both.

Kerry are coming and Dublin are regressing, we must remember to be good losers when our turn comes, its one of the lessons ive learned from some of the reactions on here to our period of success.

He stayed too long. It became embarrassing his hanging around not getting picked at the end

Replying To 37sowhat:  "Why the Holy Name ? It does not embellish your statement. As we approach the All Star selection in the light of Dublin's hitherto unattained achievement I think the team in its totality should be named All Stars 2019 and pick an alternative best of the rest, In a way this is a unique year in the history of the GAA we may never see the achievement equalled if it is bettered let's say 2025 the team that achieves it 6 in a row then we repeat the honour , Oh hang on Dublin will probably do the 6 next year measly odds of 7/4 about the doing 7 ! Maybe Kerry or Cork will have something to say about that !"
Why stop there?

Its not enough, we should have maybe a national holiday to celebrate the achievement, rename the Airport Brogan International, maybe a huge statue in the phoenix park of Jim Gavin of course taller than the Papal Cross.

Perhaps grant part of the country to each and every member of the team, the opening game of the Connacht Championship could see Mc Carthy Land v Cluxtonford sure its already in place in leinster with Kilkenny already having one named after him :)

Im joking of course Kilkenny isnt really named after Ciaran!!

Everyones a bit touchy these days!

I never said that.

I simply said that certain posters (a select 3-4) didn't get half enough of a bating when slapping was allowed.

Go figure who those 3-4 posters would be!

I was thinking the national bank could be renamed Bank of Cluxton... "invest your money in Bank of Cluxton, where saving is second nature"

See what I did there eh :)

And of course the Spire reaching up to the sky renamed "The Fenton"

Nah the spire could be named Spillane as has the potential to be a massive pain in the ..........!

Templebar, could just be renamed Keith.

Glad you found something of literary import to nourish your prejudices , it should help broaden your mind A pity you have to resort to such mean minded stuff Most of your posts are entertaining Tomás Ò Sè has a totally different take on the Dublin team, descriptive adjectives such as 'phenomenal' and 'sensational 'roll off his pen when describing them. He should know something about them and few would doubt his sticking up for his county, it is a good sign of a person when he or she can accept that sometimes there are opponents who are better , comparisons are always odious . Anyway I sincerely hope you outgrow your phobia of being less than best. Kerry will be back meantime let's enjoy Dublin, this does not lessen the desire to beat them. It had better be soon the gap between their haul of titles and Kerry's is diminishing by the year 37 so what !
