Replying To Dubh_linn:  "Believe you me I can well remember it being the reverse and it's not that long ago either.
That's why these days are cherished and I'll never tire of them."

Well stop the "ochone, woe-is-me" stuff and work towards that like a man.

We are THERE. Try to keep up.

BTW has anyone else noticed the number of kits etc. incorporating the sky blue where it never appeared before? Looking for a "rub of the Blue" no doubt. You gotta love winning.

Replying To KY4SAM2015:  "The Gaa are at fault for picking him in the first place, one or two Kerry people in the media highlighted the obvious concerns over his appointment when asked about it, simple as that.

If it was us going for 5 in a row and a ref with strong links to Kerry was appointed the exact same questions would be asked. Even though of course that appointment would never happen but the dubs are treated different to everyone else as we all know at this stage."
Outline the obvious concerns, I am fascinated what they are.

You'd have to laugh at the propaganda by the usual triumvirate of Dublin posters on another thread - apparently the Co. Board, the Kerry team and the supporters are all at each others throats over Gough's appointment. It's thrown our preparations into chaos and the players will never recover in time now!

Hah, no fear the Chinese authorities asking ye to take charge of their media campaign against Hong Kong anyway lads ;D

The reality of course is that the Co. Board went about what they had to do very efficiently and very effectively in releasing a strong endorsement of Gough to nip that in the bud and then getting O'Brien's black card successfully appealed.
Peter Keane and his players are safety cocooned from all this social media 'hysteria' and are quietly concentrating all energy on the task at hand.
There is zero expectation and zero pressure on them. They are not responsible for Dublin being on the verge of the magic 5 and everyone down in Kerry knows its too much an ask to expect a team in it's first year to somehow defend Kerry's record here. All we want is for our new young team to give it their all and die with their boots on

Meanwhile the Dublin players can escape to Clare on hurling final weekend when the media's gaze is elsewhere but things are going to seriously ratchet up from now as they come back to the Capital! They're the lads that will be walking past shops stacked with 5 in a Row memorabilia, they're the ones listening to those God awful 5 in a row songs blaring out the radios, they're the ones meeting punters on busy streets telling them it's already a done deal and reading every commentator in Ireland telling them these Kerry teenagers won't get within 12 points of them.
For the next two weeks all they will be hearing, from every corner outside of training is, 'it's in the bag lads, 5 in a row, in the bag'.

How does that song go again, 'I like to wait to see how things turn out when you apply some pressure'...

You don't put pressure on Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris IS pressure.

You'd have to laugh at coming up with a tin foul hat wearing conspiracy theory regarding O'Briens black card appeal bring dragged out on purpose to help ensure Dublin win #5 only for him to be cleared a matter of hours later..

Thehermit

There are many non Dubs also sharing their opinion on the self serving character assassination attempt of a match official by prominent Kerry GAA men in the national media

Why only choose to focus on the Dublin posters?

There are plenty of GAA people not overly impressed with the noise coming out of Kerry.

And really., who can blame them.
