Kerry V Dublin

Congratulations to both teams on making the final. All the advantages are with Dublin. RTÉ's panel say everyone else is playing for second place. Both teams are unbeaten and won their respective groups. Ciarraí abú! :-)

No. Wrong. All the advantages are not with Dublin. There was a time when Kerry loved coming to Ctoke Park. It was your stomping ground.

It is the glamour tie and with the 5 in a row at stake it makes the game even more interesting but sadly Kerry are up against an unstoppable machine. I'm sure the narrative will be that upsets can happen, Kerry are Kerry and 1982 will be played out over and over again but reality is Dublin are going to win this game, and win it well.

Make no mistake about, this is a great Dublin team. Probably the best ever. The young Kerry team facing them need to man up. Become the heroes we need you to be. The game itself deserves no less.

Kerry minors were going for 6 in a row, yes 6 in a row, today. It's sport and anything can happen.

Ya but part of the fun of sport is getting up the the morning of the match and thinking today the unbelievable might just happen.

They lost.Dublin won't be taking anything for granted.Dublin though are a much better team than Kerry at the moment and they'd have to seriously underperform to lose the Final.I don't expect that to happen.Gavin's too smart a Manager and the Dublin players are just too good for that.

I hope Kerry don't bring their fouling, cynical, game to the final. And hope Maurice Deegan is not the Ref.

Hmmm. Some former Dublin players would say you speak untruths. Congrats on making the final.

I believe it will be so. Objectively, Kerry are not good enough to close the gap, yet anyway. They know it too

No, the game needs a Dublin win. Not a cynical Kerry performance. Kerry lucky against Cork in Munster final, lucky today against Tyrone, ie got the 50/50 calls from the ref, and hope they will run out of luck in the final. Baile Atha Cliatha abú

The final Croke Park and the media wanted. A few weeks of back slapping rhubarb yardie, yardie nonsense then Dublin to win by 15 pts+. Rinse and repeat for the next 20 years

Only a foolish person would compare winning 5 or 6 Minor titles in a row to Senior titles. Minor teams must change on an ongoing basis due to the small rule pertaining to players being under a given age on a given date. I would very much doubt if any Minor team has ever even won 2 titles in a row. Lots of counties and clubs have won multiple titles in a row but the teams are always changing.

Haha the bitterness is strong on this one. Galway lol. You just can't hack it and accept that we are the kings of football. Stop being jealous. P Keane outstanding job. Go on Galway lol.

Make no mistake, this is the final opponent that Dublin wanted.
Winning the 5 in a row against the age-old enemy Kerry and taking their throne as the greatest team of All-time.

Kerry by 4.

Dublin will be rightly favorites

But credit to Kerry and Keane

A great achievement year 1

Kerry had the tougher side of things in playing Mayo, Donegal and Tyrone and came through it all unbeaten.

Hats off.

Hope S O'Brien can contest one of those black cards as I genuinely wouldn't like to see him miss out.

Enjoy the build up folks

It's great that Dublin has a full deck, no suspensions etc. I would really hope that BB goes well in training and gets into the panel. I think his big game expect versus Kerry could be very valuable

Will we see Connolly start...?!

Some context is needed here, Kerry have built a brand new team in 2 years.
They have beaten Mayo, Tyrone, cork, Drew with Donegal.
This Kerry team are ahead of where they should be and regardless of the result it's been a very good year for Peter Keane.

Before Ireland played England in the Women's Six Nations, the Irish coach said the English have 2 arms and 2 legs as well when asked about the gap!
