Replying To tyroneed:  "The refereeing in this second half has been an utter disgrace. It has decided the result."

Replying To Eddie the Exile:  "Deegan most certainly kept Kerry in it for the first 15 mins of second half. The geaney sludden incident was huge, tyrone attacking and had a man taken dow. Result throw up followed by a soft free and point to kerry. Could have been black for geaney and a free in.
That said, Harte was too slow making changes and then made the wrong ones. He needed to move when they were 3 up not 3 down. We were saying just before the goal Meyler and McGeary needed to be taken off. Hampsey ran out of legs too. Once sludden went off the quality ball inside dried up.
Turnaround was about 30% down to kerry changes, 30% down to Harte getting it wrong, 40% to Deegan. But sure look Marty, Kerry wont care about that at all."
Your point on the sludden geaney incident is spot on. That's just not good enough refereeing.

I agree with you that Mickey was slow to make changes. Has to be said he is always slow to make changes and usually does when it's too late Meyler had a poor game and have plenty of ball away. Was certain he wud be off at half time. Should have brought McCurry on at half time, a quick inside forward who have torn Kerry apart. Mcshane is big and strong but thought the game was crying out for a quick forward to work beside him.

Never want it to be said again about Tyrone being cynical. Amount of blocking off the ball that tyrone had to deal with was ridiculous. Also Kerry players diving for frees. Best one yet was when 4 Kerry players tackled mcshane, free out was given and somehow a kerry player went down with a head injury!!!!!!!

Replying To Forpucksake:  "The nonsense being spouted about the ref deciding the game is ridiculous. Kerry were absolutely dominant in the second half. Tyrone were simply nowhere to be seen."
Of course Kerry dominated the second half. Anytime Tyrone won possession during the 3rd Quarter the referee gave a free against them. Colm Cavanagh had possession, wasn't tackled and a free was given to Kerry. Mattie Donnelly was about to score, Niall Sludden was dragged to the ground by a Kerry defender. Niall Sludden was booked and the ball was thrown up from which Kerry got a point. Peter Harte was dragged constantly in front of the referee which he ignored.

Don't know what game those giving out about ref are on about, the swing round the neck of the Kerry player was a black card all day if not a straight red, deegan was very kind to Tyrone

Very strange game, thought Tyrone were the better team for most of it but somehow lost. Kerry were all over the shop in the first half and its scary to think what Dublin would do to their defence. The crucial period was the 15 minutes after half time, Kerry got a couple of soft frees and Tyrone missed some very scorable chances, this kept Kerry in it. The Kerry subs made a huge difference especially Jack Sherwood and Tommy Walsh.

Cathal McShane had another great game for Tyrone but needs a bit more help. Would Lee Brennan not make an ideal partner for McShane in the full forward line? I was surprised when Brennan left the Tyrone panel earlier this year.

Finally the attendance was pathetic. Both teams deserve better than this. Did both set of supporters think they have no chance of beating Dublin or is there some other reason?

Ref aside, Kerry were woeful in the first half and likewise Tyrone in the 2nd.
Poor game poor crowd but Kerry will be well up for the big showdown, here we go!

I would add there should be a very serious investigation into that refereeing performance.

You wouldn't have got near a all ire final last year only for the ref deciding the game in Navan. Swings and roundabouts

It's hardly that surprising that Tyrone have again been unable to defeat a top non-Ulster team in Croke Park. It's been a recurring theme of Tyrone teams for the last decade and there wasn't much (outside of some patchy McShane form) that indicated this year would be any different. Well beaten by both Kerry and Donegal leaving maybe Roscommon as their biggest win this year, hard to know what to make of it.

Replying To kevin03:  "Wouldn't say Tyrone threw it away while also agreeing ref brought Kerry back into it. Any team can beat another team but they cant beat the ref"
Would agree with the last part. It was Meath who were screwed over in Navan last year and Tyrone benefited. Swings and roundabouts. The only thing was I think it's fair to say Kerry would still have won without the ref. Can't say the same for Tyrone

Blind as a bat. The hatred is strong in this one.

The hatred in this one is strong. It should have been a black or even red. This was done after how many eaay frees he gifted Kerry to keep them in it. How many times did Dolan say Kerry getting soft frees. I counted 3 times. At least try to hide the hatred.

High challenge is a yellow only. Black only for a pull down. Please learn the rules

That's three times you've said the word 'hatred' in two posts. Is everything alright?
