I slightly disagree Seanie

I think this Roscommon team is a different animal from last year. Cunningham has a bit of old school fire about him, Roscommon has physical players in the 3 Daly's and Mullooy.
The main thing they have is another top class finisher in Cox, who along with Murtagh and Smith make an excellent forward line.

Tyrone have beat absolutely nothing this year. Derry, Antrim, Longford are teams Tyrone should be beating easily. Kildare and Cavan were extremely poor. Counter this with Roscommon who have beat two established Div 1 teams in Galway and Mayo, both away from home, shows we are up against a serious team.

I think Roscommon playing at home will have the physicality and intensity to match Tyrone.

In saying that I think Tyrone will nick it lol

A fair assessment. History counts because for Roscommon it would be a major win but for Tyrone a major setback and that's based simply on past record which determines belief and conviction. If Roscommon really believe they can win then they will. Tyrone expect to win which is another pressure in itself

Mayo beat Galway and it's all about how this mayo team are back, huge statement... Ros beat Galway and it's all about how bad Galway and Kevin Walsh are!!

It is do or die championship time and you could be right in that it might be closer but I still fancy Tyrone to get the job done.

This game is being reffed by the Roscommon crowd. Every time they holler a Tyrone player gets booked. Shocking officiating.

Well the ref has decided that no rossie will see black or red no matter the tackle.

Ref didn't give Tyrone anything in that game. How are Roscommon in the Super 8s? Gutless second half display in front of their own fans. Can see now why Kerry let Conor Cox go. Expect to see Tyrone in the last 8. Ros to go through the 3 games winless again

74 minutes in and Roscommon at last play a high ball into the full forward line.

Tyrone very good and how any team doesn't put a marker on Mattie Donnelly is beyond me. He's pure class.

Awful game to watch.

inconsistency with cards lacking but he always does that in Tyrone games

Comfortable win for Tyrone and only playing in 3rd gear. Roscommon were disappointing after their great Connaught championship. They made too many basic skill errors and gave away too mandy scorable frees. Hopefully they can recover and give a good account of themselves in the next 2 games.

Tyrone are going along nicely and that game wint have killed them. The game against Dublin in Omagh is increasingly looking like a dead rubber.

Interesting that both teams never pressed up on the opposition kickouts, they more less gave up the kickouts. I am surprised that at this stage of the Super 8s that teams wouldnt at least try to push up on kickouts.

Go easy will you! Last year Tyrone beat Roscommon 4-24 to 2-12?

I really don't like to criticise officials as it's hard enough but the inconsistency is stark. Rules are not being applied equally or fairly. Ulster teams are being hammered with yellows and black cards while opposition teams are being let off for the same offences. That wasn't a dirty or over physical game but Tyrone were punished for any sort of contact. It was the same in the Mayo/Armagh game when Armagh got nothing. I thought the days of Ulster sides being treated differently were over but obviously not.

Really? Tyrone "won" plenty of frees with a bit of cuteness, a hand in and go to ground. No problem, that's something ros have to learn at this level and do same. Cathal Cregg got taken out twice within 2 minutes of each other, 2nd tackle could have been a black. Niall Daly running through near end, got taken down, certain black but again ref opted for yellow. Tyrone kick out, before ball was kicked Tyrone player caught donie smiths arm and pulled him down on top of him in front of ref..free to Tyrone! So it wasn't all in favor of Ros. He had a poor game for both teams.
