Here is what happened sindar, Gary Patterson was pulled down by the Tyrone defender and was on the ground, the Tyrone keeper came out and went down on Patterson with his knee, Harney came in and pushed the keeper and Morgan went down like he was shot, total simulation. You picked the wrong person to start making up rules with!! Anyway, I'm not really sure why you have taken such an issue with my comment about Ultan Harney in this game when it was only to highlight that we had a golden opportunity to take Tyrone that day and missed it over a silly incident. Very much torn on this one. I think you can make a case for both teams. Cox and McShane sho+ oting the lights out. I hope we get a good competitive intense game in the Hyde. Is the Hyde sold out? Roscommon beat two established Div 1 teams in Galway and Mayo away deservedly so and yet still written off by a lot of posters on this thread and elsewhere? Would as many have the same view if Mayo or Galway had home advantage against Tyrone this weekend? i think not! Mayo had a lot of wides against Roscommon but many of which were forced wides from good pressured defending from the rossies, one thing that seems to be forgotten from that match is that Roscommon scored 2-12 and had other chances also, 9 wides in total and had another goal chance saved. In the Connacht final Roscommon outplayed and overpowered Galway in the 2nd half of that final, Galway had a 5 point lead at half time due to a 10 minute purple patch they had and before it that sides were level at 0-5 each. It was one of those rare matches where the wind didn't effect a contest in Salthill One poster on here made a good comment that in the qualifiers Tyrone have only beaten dead things. Kildare,Longford,Cavan were devoid of any confidence and were simply put out of their misery by Tyrone. The main thing for Tyrone was getting back to the last eight after their setback v Donegal. What Tyrone will bring to this game will be physicality,huge intensity,work rate,organization and will do whatever it takes to win. Last year for the super 8s Roscommon was one of "dead things" that Tyrone bullied and tossed aside like rag dogs and time and time again they cut to shreds a very poor defence with waves of attacks. Things are a bit different now, Roscommon are very much alive and brimming with confidence having won Connacht the hard way and against the odds. All logic still points to a Tyrone win however if Roscommon can match all the things i outlined that Tyrone will bring to this contest then a upset win will be very much on the cards. Cost us that game sure, but that was game 3, we still had 4 more opportunities to get a result and didn't. The rule does not say if 'the player who is fouled retaliates' as you put it. The rule clearly states if 'A PLAYER RETALIATES' meaning any player!!
