Kerry v Donegal and Cork v Tyrone probably should be Croke park. Thurles is too far south and Clones too far north. So unless they are split up to Hyde Park, Tullamore or Port Laois, I can't think of a better suitable venue. But no reason Dublin v Roscommon could not be in Clones or Tullamore. Mayo v Meath could be in Hyde Park or Tullamore. They could not put Dublin v Cork on the same day as the hurling as it was (potentially) a triple header then with Cork v Kilkenny and Tipp v Dublin. If hurling stuck with divisions of 8 teams, Kerry would be a Division 2 team. There's been a lot of chopping and changing of competition formats. There's very little traction to gain rivalries at these levels.
