I'm sure but we don't have the fitness levels to match Dublin. The teams that do, such as Tyrone, will be better able to take advantage. That's all I meant

Don't pass any heed of Ulsterman., He's on here for the sole pupose of griping and feeding anti-Ulster conspiracy theories

Congrats to Cork on a great performance but the truth is that Dublin never really looked threatened despite not being at 100%.

Dublin seem to be finding their groove by degrees & that last 10 minutes was them at their best but other teams will not be quaking at their overall performance.

The football championship has been really entertaining this year with lots of open play & big scoring in all games. The only real blot now is the cynicsm from all the top teams. It is a real blight & HQ needs to take steps especially with regard to "professional" fouls and players feigning injury to run the clock down.

Dublin looked immense yesterday. Yes, there is gaps at the back if a team kick passes forward quickly and you will get scores but it's Dublins ruthlessness that's so impressive. Every attack had goal in mind and a point is only if the goal isn't on. Teams will get closer than Cork but very unlikely to see anyone stopping the 5!!

Replying To realdub:  "Because our lads are better all round athletes who train properly, eat properly and have excelled in the physical side of the game coming through the ranks. Of course they have to be excellent footballers too.
You're not suggesting something underhanded are you?"
Let's be honest, it's because of money.
I heard that the Dubs dont even train anymore, that they just rub money all over each other before a game.

Replying To baire:  "They are fitter because they are better, more natural footballers, wonderful supporters who never jeer a penalty taker. or boo the opponents' wides. They get no funding, had the generosity and good sense to refuse state aid and passed it on to the neglected regions - how could anyone not love the Dubs - they even reduced the crowds coming to Croker in case a full stadium would be too intimidating for the opposition. Baile Átha Cliath abúuub!"
Wow you really are bitter !! Dublins success is eating you up and long may it last -:)

In his co-commentary on the radio Eamonn O'Hara describes it as game management. This is how you protect your lead, he says.

Maybe they each have a personal tailored fitness program and dietry regime and like the Stepford wife's they stick to it. Maybe they are just natural athletes and they fitter than Cork? But would a shocking conclusion on your part right? Keep on digging I am sure you will unearth another conspiracy. Meanwhile in the real world I am sure Tyrone will match them for fitness."
Hi I never mentioned drugs. I just asked how are dublin so far ahead in regards to fitness it's a genuine question and I'm not suggesting anything untoward.

Makes me very happy.

To be fair to Kingdomboy I didn't think that he was implying drugs. But what I did think he might have been suggesting was that they may be benefiting from being able to train full-time.

I must admit when he mentioned the Aussie Rules lads I thought the analogy was a good one because the physical conditioning of the Dublin lads looks so good. In terms of speed, strength, acceleration, and endurance they certainly appear to have raised those elements to a new level.

In the middle of all the mud-slinging, does anyone know what the Dublin lads jobs are? Maybe that would put an end to all the uninformed speculation.

I mean every team are killing them selves at training week in week out yet no one can match their fitness."
The dubs are matching that training but they're doing it with much heavier wallets in their pockets

Ask O'Sullivan and Fitzmaurice how they managed to cover up what is a scandal that was swept under the carpet.

It'll be interesting to see if donegal really go for goals with meath today especially in the last quarter. They could have scored 2/3 late on in previous match but opted to tap or handpass over the bar. I wonder was it a ploy to not overegg the scoreline against cavan especially to keep the hype down
