I'm sure but we don't have the fitness levels to match Dublin. The teams that do, such as Tyrone, will be better able to take advantage. That's all I meant

Don't pass any heed of Ulsterman., He's on here for the sole pupose of griping and feeding anti-Ulster conspiracy theories

Congrats to Cork on a great performance but the truth is that Dublin never really looked threatened despite not being at 100%. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 14/07/2019 10:48:36 2210589 Link 1 |

Dublin looked immense yesterday. Yes, there is gaps at the back if a team kick passes forward quickly and you will get scores but it's Dublins ruthlessness that's so impressive. Every attack had goal in mind and a point is only if the goal isn't on. Teams will get closer than Cork but very unlikely to see anyone stopping the 5!! Let's be honest, it's because of money. I heard that the Dubs dont even train anymore, that they just rub money all over each other before a game. Dec82 (Clare) - Posts: 242 - 14/07/2019 11:39:55 2210603 Link 3 |

In his co-commentary on the radio Eamonn O'Hara describes it as game management. This is how you protect your lead, he says.

Hi I never mentioned drugs. I just asked how are dublin so far ahead in regards to fitness it's a genuine question and I'm not suggesting anything untoward.

To be fair to Kingdomboy I didn't think that he was implying drugs. But what I did think he might have been suggesting was that they may be benefiting from being able to train full-time. I must admit when he mentioned the Aussie Rules lads I thought the analogy was a good one because the physical conditioning of the Dublin lads looks so good. In terms of speed, strength, acceleration, and endurance they certainly appear to have raised those elements to a new level. In the middle of all the mud-slinging, does anyone know what the Dublin lads jobs are? Maybe that would put an end to all the uninformed speculation. offyertrolley (Leitrim) - Posts: 141 - 14/07/2019 13:17:51 2210665 Link 1 |
The dubs are matching that training but they're doing it with much heavier wallets in their pockets

Ask O'Sullivan and Fitzmaurice how they managed to cover up what is a scandal that was swept under the carpet.

It'll be interesting to see if donegal really go for goals with meath today especially in the last quarter. They could have scored 2/3 late on in previous match but opted to tap or handpass over the bar. I wonder was it a ploy to not overegg the scoreline against cavan especially to keep the hype down
