Is there a second game being televised by RTE or SKY?

Doesn't appear to be which is a shame, some good games longford v Tyrone, monaghan v armagh, Derry v laois, leitrim v Clare should all be close and then down v mayo which could be a great game, think sky missed the boat here.

Got my ticket sorted for Antrim v Kildare. A full house expected even if it is at Corrigan it should be better atmosphere than half the fixture list at croker these days. If it's a contest of course.....

Hi SaffronDon, have my ticket too. I have been in Casement Park before. Is Corrigan Park nearby?

Not that far from Casement. Coming off the Motorway you'd take the same exit for Casement (up Kennedy way). But when you come to the roundabout where you turn left on Andersontown Rd to head for Casement you instead head on round right towards the Falls. Follow that down for a mile or more, past Falls Park on left and you then come to Whiterock Road (mini roundabout I think with the Rock bar). Corrigan is a few hundred metres up the Whiterock Rd on Right Hand Side - sits in off road but think there is a sign at the entrance saying St John's GAC/Corrigan Park or something like that.

Put the Whiterock Rd on yer SatNav/JohnJoe and you'll get there grand.

its down the road towards the falls from casement. whiterock rd is the turn off to the left. go past O'Donnells club pitch and its about 100 metres up on the same side.

parking is a bit dodgy though. ballymurphy estate sits behind the ground and i wouldnt leave anything too valuable in the car. its not major but its happened before. there should be a good few stewards about for a county match anyway.

hope this helps

Whiterock leisure centre or the Park Centre for parking?

Or are any nearby estates ok for parking in? Provided you're outside the right type of mural of course ;)

I'll maybe let some of the City boys advise on parking if_in_doubt as they would know the lay of the land better for parking on a match day around Corrigan. The Leisure centre is just up the road a bit from it alright and has a bit of space in around it though not sure if it is used for match traffic or not. Similarly, there are some spaces in Falls Park if you go in off the Falls Road entrance (you'd pass it if coming down the Falls just before you come to the Whiterock turn).

When we head up from the country we just leave one of the weans in the car with the shotgun and never an issue.....

If you're up early enough you'll get a spot at either Park Centre or Whiterock Leisure centre. The area surrounding Corrigan is all nationalist and usually there's no issue with parking in the estates but I dont want to say it's always plain sailing either. Either of the spots mentioned would be a safer bet overall I'd say.
