It applies more for Limerick than a Tipp v Kilkenny rivalry?? Maybe from your own experience but not from competitive history on the biggest occasions.

As for the previous post that was my opinion of what I've watched this year. When Tipp turn it on they look unstoppable. They have all their key players back and they have their AI winning manager back leading them from the sideline. You could be right but that's my prediction based on what I've seen and a gut feeling I have.

Tipp v Limerick is a massive rivalry. It's got it's own unique history. I wont say its bigger than Kilkenny V Tipp but its certainly stronger than Galway v Tipp. Everyone hates Tipp so poor auld Tipp get it from all Angles. Mind you they deserve it.

Cork need the money most to lay down a new pitch!!!
JP has ye sorted!!

I really don't care where it's on tbh to me it's only a pitch.

Ah Come on. Cork got huge financial input from the state for the construction of that pitch- way more than other Munster counties when they done up their pitches. I do not give two flying ducks where the game would would be played, but why you would want people from Ratbcabbin, Lorha and Roscrea, and other parts of North Tipperary, to have to travel down to Leeside, when the game could be played in Limerick or Thurles, is something I simply cannot understand.

ye have limk and tipp in the final, i think limk might struggle this sunday after putting in 2 savage games last 2 sundays this is our third week in a row. tipp are coming in fresh out with a 2 week break.

Of course not, we were only speculating where such a game might be played. As it stands Cork are overwhelming favourites to beat Clare, who are also playing for a third week in a row, and Limerick are probably slight outsiders against Tipp. Either way, I, for one, would be quite happy to go the third place route as we did last year

For me Limerick would do well going through as Munster winners if at all possible. As few chances of getting caught as possible. I think they could do without a quarter final

Just at the records of Munster Champions since 2008, when they were allowed direct access to All Ireland Semi Finals, and you will see that only Tipp, in 206, have achieved outright success. The four or five weeks break at the height of the Summer appears to be a killer.

That poster is actually from Clare Clubgaa. That should explain the bitterness

And including Tipp in 2016, only 4 times in those years, have the Munster finalists even reached the All Ireland.
