Yes. lots of players being pulled for it the last few seasons. It was not a drop shot, he threw it in front of him.

They never do. They focus on players who put in one big performance and forget they're quiet in the rest of them. For me he's well ahead of everyone else this year.
Some phenomenal performances this year from midfielders. Mannion, breen, O'Keeffe have a ll racked up big scores from midfield

Yeah he has given tour de force performances in midfield. Defensively yesterday he was everywhere and his distribution is a brilliant as ever. I wonder will be match up with Lynch the next day or will it be Breen on Lynch?

Smart move by Limerick manager.
Lost to Tipp with a weakened team..they will feel they can beat Tipp later in year.
Anybody's All Ireland at this point.

The modern game seems to involve the forwards making decoy runs inside or out to the sideline dragging their markers with them which leaves space then for the midfielders and halfbacks to run into and take their points. And forwards are the first line of defence these days especially at short puckout time. I suppose its a kind of total hurling. O Keefe is probably our best hurler this year though he started slowly enough in the league.

Did yer sulky's break down on the way to Thurles or what? I was expecting a Limerick win."
Classy comment Dec82 is that your opinion of Limerick people
Instead of whinging about us not beating Tipp why didn't Clare go and beat them themselves 2 weeks ago and ye wouldn't have to rely on us

No its not, i have good time for Limerick folk. My apologies, had a few in me and i was trying to be smart.

Your right, Clare cant have any complaints. 3 teams went through, that deserved to go through.

Apology accepted Limerick/Clare people generally get on a lot better with each other than our other neighbours. Your right with the correct teams advancing as we all knew the rules before the championship started- I'm sure all counties are going to miss out like ye did yesterday over the next couple of years.

I was very disappointed with Limericks "squad" players on Sunday. Flanagan and Dowling really had no impact, Boylan looked very poor when he came on and O 'Donovan had an awful game in my opinion. Peter Casey is playing his way off the team but who would Kiely have confidence to start ahead of him now? You couldn't start Flanagan Dowling or Boylan. Ryan done well but he looks like an impact sub rather than a starter.

I'd agree with you there, with Flanagan in particular looking very rusty and way off the required pace. I'd love to see pat ryan getting a start, he's a player I've always felt has an awful lot to offer.
Can any limerick people she'd light on Colin Ryan? He saw plenty of game time in the league over the past 2 years but hasn't seen to be anywhere near Championship?

I would argue that half of Limerick City is in Clare not the other way around

Think Ryan is out for the season?

Colin ryan seems to be out of favour he was playing a lot midfield up to the league semi final last yr hasn't got a sniff since but a very good player I've always rated him
