Replying To ballydalane:  "Does this result count as revenge for 1982?"
Maybe in some quarters, but Kerry deserved their win onSaturday. Offaly have a lot of work to do to get back to competing at a higher level. The players and management did their best, but they are very down, and need time to recover.
Life goes on.

Buff Egan has up Offaly u20 beating Dublin In the Leinster championship with a cathal kiely scoring 20 points, some good news for Offaly hurling and I'm delighted for them. Hopefully it can set a foundation for Offaly to work on in the coming years.

That was a great win last night by Offaly. It was just what hurling needed in this county. Wexford are up next.
I think it might be a home game, after 3 away matches.

Congratulations. It took a plucky band of young fellows to go out and play so well in the present climate that Offaly Hurling finds himself in.

I think the whole world wants Offaly to succeed, as they want Westmeath etc too, but I don't see how they can progress under the current system.
But I remember when Wexford beat KK in a couple of U21 finals, they are a tonic and can be the start of good things.
