The game is 70 mins (sometimes 77 lol), and in that time both teams will prob have a period of dominance, chances are taken, chances are missed, mistakes are made etc etc. We all pick incidents in isolation and say if this or that happened but the scoreline very rarely lies."

You may and probably will be right about Wexford winning nothing under Davy. However, the same is true for almost every intercounty manager.
Every panel member and management team from ever county give of their best regardless of the resources available to them. As a Roscommon man with an interest in hurling I'm sure you can identify with that.

This forum is for the expression of opinions.If we all agreed,there wouldn't be much interest in it.Wexford have good hurlers.The test for the Manager is to maximise what he has at his disposal.Jim Bolger,the horse trainer saw Wexford hurling in it's heyday of the 1950s..He doesn't like the current team's tactics one bit.There's hurling in Roscommon and I'd say a lot of Roscommon people would have regard for the purple and gold and would like to see Wexford win an All-Ireland.

ConnollyDub, we both need to beat Galway and its game on! Sure no bother. The Dubs were great craic at the match and contributed to a superb atmosphere. I wish you all the best for the rest of the championship. Hopefully we'll meet again.
