what have ye done this year to say that laois arent ahead of ye.....i'm been genuine .laois won the joe mcdonagh and beat dublin are were doing well against tipp until they had a man sent off.....galway were beat in the league semi by waterford who failed to win a game after ye struggled against carlow and were beat by dublin. also lucky to draw against wexford at home.

Well this "poor eejit" has read it and agrees. Take your arrogant maroon blinkers off and accept what has been a disastrous Championship for Galway.

Obviously this was written by another genius journalist. I wonder do they ever check back on what they've written. Do they get paid for such carp

Is Liam Moynihan a Cork man?

The GAA loves recency bias, if Kilkenny beat Limerick on Sunday it will be "Oh sure the 4 week layoff didn't help Limerick", if Limerick win it'll be "Kilkenny look tired". StoreysTash (Wexford) - Posts: 1726 - 23/07/2019 11:48:24 2215183 Link 0 |
Are we in fact talking about Michael Moynihan, a sports reporter, with a quirky style, in the Irish Examiner.

Settle down lad, you need only read a few of my posts to see that I don't pull punches when it comes to Galway's championship performance this year. But despite the world and his wife agreeing that we played well below par, of the four semifinalists that played this weekend, we beat one of them and drew with another. Sadly, despite only losing once, we didn't get a chance to play outside of Leinster; how many times has KK lost this year and to whom?

Lost twice to ye and us. Thats the system we all knew was in place at the start of the year though.

Yeah have to hand it to the cats. Beating cork and Limerick is very impressive. 1. Cats 2. Wexford 3. Dublin 4. Galway 5. Laois Next year I'm predicting 1. Galway 2. Dublin 3. Wexford 4. Kilkenny 5. Laois On paper 2020 should be the most competitive leinster championship ever and I cannot wait for it. Jack_Goff (Meath) - Posts: 2920 - 28/07/2019 21:26:27 2217867 Link 1 |
Hate to say it, as I'd hoped those days were gone, but it depends entirely on which Galway shows up. They have the potential, as usual, but we'll see if this early summer finish has done anything to whet their appetites! I definitely wouldn't be putting Kilkenny in fourth though. They'd have to go in as favourites at the start of the year for sure. After that it's a toss up between Dublin, Galway, and Wexford, with Laois something of a dark horse who clearly have the potential to be serious contenders. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3097 - 29/07/2019 00:35:14 2217940 Link 0 |
Think Id go for Wexford Kilkenny Galway Dublin and Laois but thats me being biased. Seriously though anything could happen.....
