Just curious to know are they many players left playing both football and hurling at senior inter county level? I was thinking it was a thing of the past now with commitment levels gone through the roof at this stage. Chrissy McKaigue has combined both codes but as far as I know he won't be this season.

Almost impossible to do at senior level at this stage I would imagine. I don't know of any. The level of commitment, game planning, preparation and recovery time needed nowadays forces you to choose. Even at underage level now it would be extremely difficult although I know some players still do it.

Cant see how it can be done even difficult at club level never mind county. Probably gone the way of the railway cup.
