Kerry have lots of young lads under 22/23 and plenty of lads over 28 but not many in between.

Can't recall too many teams winning the big prize with that dynamic.

Most team who've won All Ireland would have the majority of their team aged 23-28

We had a semilar dynamic in 1975 1997 2014 and we won it but I know what you're saying, it's rare enough.

Look I know every1 is touting us as the only team that can beat the dubs in the championship and they're probably right but it won't be this year I'm afraid.

I would not agree.

They have a lot of very good players (crowley, o'donoghue, gainey, murphy, o'brien, BJ Keane) that actually are 28.... realistically at their prime IMO.

I think the addition last year of Clifford, bringing back Tommy Walsh and the new additions this year have dramatically transformed the Kerry potential. I think they are very serious contenders, which they haven't been (arguably) for the last 3 years.

Don't know about the other 2 you've mentioned but your miles off stating Kerry had that dynamic in 2014.

11 of that team who started would be aged around 23-28.

We dont know at this stage, whether he will want to or is conditioned enough.

Hes back training for Crokes and word is he is decent nick, i think its planned he will play the Dublin Club Championship football and hurling so he will be playing at the same club standard as the rest of the Dublin panel. Whether he would need to be back into the Dublin Senior fold or not though at this stage preparation wise, i'm not wholly sure.

Im more then sure we will have the feelers out though one way or the other.
