Sherlock Steps Down

Well managed by the Dublin PR machine that they announce that Connolly May be back as the same time as Sherlock is gone. Apparently Gavin was not a happy camper with the recent documentary that Jayo took part in and was going against team values and Sherlock was a dead man walking after he took part in the documentary.
Will be a loss for the dubs.

Big loss to Dublin I think

Cork should contact him, get him involved (he does have Cork relatives) & try to help our struggling football team out!

So says the internet! The real reason is a tad more boring.

Sure there was nothing comprising for the Dublin team in that documentary at all.

Could it possibly have been a case of Connolly or Sherlock? Maybe Sherlock wouldn't work with Connolly. I'm only think this off the top of my head now I'm probably way off the mark.

Best of luck to Jason Sherlock in his future adventures. Loved his documentary.
Could we see him as a future Dublin manager at some stage?

Thought this was old news, seems the national media have just noticed, Paul Clarke has been there for the last while.

I'm an admirer of Paul myself and he''s been given a lot of trust over the years in this set up.

I see it as a slight adjustment to be honest, Jayo on,y been there for the few years and we have seen the great Dubs come and go from the set up in those years.

It always fascinates me how're Dublin supporters on here like to insinuate that they have the inside story on Dublin all the time. For probably most closed management team in the history of GAA, I think there is probably a lot of bluff & hyperbole in this regard.

Yeah there's that or you can just look at the sideline during games and see Paul Clarke doing the Jayo role.

And this thread isn't hyperbole...

Unsubstantiated hear say based on nothing but pure speculation and presumptions

Jayo recently setup a new business venture

Perhaps he can't juggle both or perhaps like Declan Darcy last year needs to take a step away for a few months... ??

And you talk about Dubs hyperbole! We were in the know about Connolly recently and I've seen plenty of culchies supposedly in the know about the multiple BS reasons why Connolly left and spouting gossip as if they were facts..

But yeah Greysoil.. you never took time to mention that hyperbole before but as per usual with you.. if there's a chance to attach anything negative to Dublin you'll take it..
