Replying To kiloughter:  "Maybe it is non Galway fans who want to see the four you mentioned start? KW while slow to change will not have all those playing as starters although they will have a role to play. John Daly is the future and a serious defensive prospect. Silke, Wall will definitely start come championship (assuming they stay injury free). McDaid, Heaney and Sean Kelly also. Sean Andy at full back and that is defence well sorted. Question is who will accompany Flynn in midfield. What turnaround. Now our best midfielder and in the top echelon countrywide. The reality is we have serious talent and are developing pedigree while at the same time need to adapt at times and be more offensive. Thing is Connacht is overall much healthier with the Rossies in better health than 12 months ago and Mayo renewed to some degree under Horan."
Not present the last day or long term missing:

Eoin O'Donoghue, Seamus O'Shea, Tom Parsons, Cillian O'Connor, Chris Barrett, Pearse Hanley, Boyler (though he's available), Conor Loftus, Conor O'Shea, James Durcan, plus there are a couple more new prospects who'd be getting game time if fit who might get in before the end of the league.

Some of these players may move down the pecking order by the time they get back, but it's far from the full championship pick at this point...
