It's pure banter is all.

4th time trying to post this!

So your ok with being able to call another poster a belle-end because you disagreed with his take on the match (which YOU did on Sunday on this very thread) but you are up now up in arms because I'm gently teasing the travel writing aspirations evident in some waffle another one of your cronies posts up?

Grand, just wanted to be clear where you stood.

Some of ye Dubs have enough brass in yer necks to start a plumbing trade :D

Replying To GeniusGerry:  "Moran did come on but he only got back from honeymoon recently and would be well behind the curve of the general panel in terms of preparation.

I'm not privy to Kerry's training regimen so I don't know exactly when they started full training. I think there is huge room for improvement but whether it will be enough to make an impact on the championship this year remains to be seen. We definitely look more organised at this stage than we did in recent years and hopefully good coaching will continue the upward trend."
Gerry I just read that last Saturday was Seanie Shea's 7th game in 28 days, O'Beaglaoich and Dara Moynihan must be the same I'd say.

The difference in this Kerry team since Peter Keane has taken over can already be seen compared to the last few years.
The game Saturday night had a championship feel to it. While it's only February you get that feeling that Kerry team means business and they are taking every game very seriously.

I've been impressed with Keane so far. Playing players in their correct positions and giving players on form their chance no matter what age.

Dublin wont be too disappointed either even though they did have 17 of the 21 I believe from the All Ireland final playing, the loss of Cluxton and Kilkenny will hurt any team as well as a few others. They are clearly a step ahead of anyone whether that gap can be closen between now and August remains to be seen.

Its a pity we have to wait through the provincial championships which I cant see being anyway competitive in Leinster or Munster for years to come. Matchups like Saturday night should be the norm come the summer but instead we have meaningless game after game until the super 8s.

Unless im mistaken, under the current super 8 rules the winners of the Munster and Leinster championships (Kerry and Dublin for the foreseeable future) can never meet for a game in Tralee or Killarney which really is a shame.

4th time eh. Shouldn't have bothered.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
Gently teasing it is not , it's sneering and pathetic.
Maybe it's your upbringing or something in your past that leads to you thinking that passes for banter.
Grow up would and stop being such a child

Do you know the rest of how the league pans out will be interesting.

With a great shout now for Kerry to make the league final and possibly coming home with a national title, whether that is a good or bad thing at this point in Kerrys development pre-championship is debatable.

If it was me and i was from Kerry i would be half hoping Dublin can pull it out of the fire and make the league final against Kerry.

I said earlier the biggest concern for us would be beaten by teams who have had a run at us and built experience over a few years like Offaly did against Kerry during their five in a row attempt, so Mayo, Tyrone and Galway, who have learned and slowly reeled us in, in terms of results.

If i was Kerry id want as many games and learning opportunists against Dublin as possible, ahead of the championship and really make a go of it.

Doesn't look like we are going to do yee a favor on it though! :(

Just trying to highlight the selective censorship that seems to go on whenever Dublin are a topic of discussion.
And Dublinn baby, calling someone a belle-end is by far one of the most childish and sad sad things posted on here lately.
That you can stand over that and yet feel justified questioning the upbringing of another poster is bizarre in the extreme. Do you reside on planet Earth? Or are you floating in the cosmos :D

Id expect Dublin to win their remaining games whether that will be enough to make the final, id assume it would be.

We did beat ye in the league final a few years back and that didnt do us any good so im not sure League results have any bearing on the championship but I suppose it will give this new look team experience before the big games arrive in the summer.

I still feel Kerry are a fair bit away from a fully motoring Dublin side but if we can gain momentum from here til August there is always a chance of an upset given the unknown nature of what this Kerry team has to offer. However like many id expect it may take 2 or 3 seasons before we see the best of this side to develop.

If any sides have a chance of upsetting Dublin I think it could be ourselves or Mayo. Galways playing style doesnt suit them playing Dublin and Tyrone will not get enough scores to beat ye unless these sides show us something different but I feel they wont change their approach to games against Dublin anytime soon.

Good post a chara, I'd shorten the two - three year incubation period myself, but like you say a bit of ball to be played first!

The very best for the rest of the campaign.

Sure we can't all be some hot shot tv producer as you claimed to be recently. Too busy flying to Hollywood to go to League games eh ;D

Yes I've noticed posts being blocked a lot in the last year, mostly when I or others try and highlight the latest evidence about Dublin's funding and other artificial advantages conferred on them by the powers that be.
I also see how you and your buddies are always allowed post whatever insulting guff you feel you need to get off your chest.
That's clearly evidenced by your behaviour on Friday night if people wish to scroll back a few pages and see.
But so be it, if that's how the forum is run, I won't lose any sleep about it.
