Replying To jimbodub:  "Rock scored a nice few from play in the AI final when we really needed it. I think it's a bit of a myth that he doesn't score from play.

Also He's our only dead ball specialist and one of the best in the country (if not the best)

You'd have rival managers happy to see him not starting

He offers something no other Dub player can to that level. Rock would be the first player down on my team sheet up front, his dead ball game have won us some massive games

We went years without a player of his proven 45/free taking talent and we suffered greatly from it.

In a big game, we win an important 45 and Rocks not on the pitch. I'd be worried about our options as to who would step up.

I think Dean is the greatest Dub free taker of all time and doesn't get near enough credit."
Agreed jimbo

The one area where Galway were competing was in midfield but Fenton showed a masterclass again. Caught 2 whopper kickouts that he had no right to win. The guy is still in his early 20s and for me he's probably the best all rounder in the country.
Galway were rotten 2nd half, I really didn't understand Walsh's persistence with the number of men behind the ball. Their forward play still hasn't improved which was reflected on the scoreboard.
Costello might just be the player a lot of Dubs had expected him to be if he gets a good run of games. He was poor last week against Monaghan but his performance on Saturday was top drawer.

I'm really looking forward to the Kerry game now. League schmeague, Kerry will be well up for this one. Kerry's half back line look a much tighter unit, a lot of pace and will give Dublin nothing easy. Great to be getting a game that promises so much this early in the year. I would love to go down but I believe its a sell out
