Replying To KingdomBoy1:  "I suppose we should be flattered that our Dublin friends want to be us the hermit, there scrambling so hard looking for validation from us it's almost pitiful .

I often wonder about the future and in a hundred years when people will look back over the 235 years of the association those new irelanders will see how a bunch of farmers and laborers from a sparsely populated county on the west coast of Ireland battled against all the odds and traveled the country to win multiple allirelands,

And those same new Irelanders will see how the GAA had to pump millions and millions into the Goliath that is the capital and give them home advantages and home town refs so they could compete with us.

Happy new year indeed."
Of course we want to be the 'Kerry' of football, and it is a compliment, but I wouldn't agree I need validation from Kerry posters, why would I? I know plenty of 'real' Kerry football people and they are in awe of our team in fairness to them, just like we were of the 70/80s Kerry side.
But lads, to keep stating money is the reason we have done so well lately is pathetic, you can't buy natural ability and desire. Yes our structures are in a very good place thanks to money, but give this team the credit it deserves, otherwise ye'll die bitter old men.
I never used the 'handy' province thing to irk the Kerry lads, never even crossed my mind, I just wanted to beat ye and now that we have, it's time for ye to concentrate on that, and if you fail, please don't blame money.

Bring on 2019! Really looking forward to buying plastic cups of tae in 'Blaney & choc ices in Clones.
Not sure how Ulster will go but thinking the Farney will make it to the last 8. Actually believe that Dublin won't do 5 in a row. Am sure you (very transient) soccer/ Gaelic football supporters of Dublin (depending on the success of a code at a time in place) will stand by yiser men ......

You would expect Monaghan to make the super 8's alright.
Yes, we do have to contend with a lot of distractions here alright. What with, Soccer, rugby, athletics and the temptations constantly put in front of the up and coming talent to just enjoy living it up it's not easy but we're managing all the same and have got good people who are well organized and doing their best.
Hopefully we can give ourselves a chance and make the 8's aswell.

Realdub of course yer team is brilliant Iv never denied that but money makes everything so much easier, having money means ye'r boys don't have to work which means they have time to recover from hard training sessions,

Recovery is the most important part of training, in the rest of the country the footballers have to travel hundreds of miles every week for training after a hard days work.

In a game of inches every little thing counts.

It's genuinely gobsmacking constructing such a strongly held opinion based on absolute BS...

Our lads don't work?!

Clueless.

Jog on man at this stage it's beyond ignorance.

Ah now look me auld flower, that just ain't true. The Kerry lads lived well off their accomplishments, there are perks but to say they don't work is nonsense.

Wee are getting our decent county ground in Fundalk. Louth were winning All Ireland's and Leinsters when Offaly men thought that the world was still flat. You would want to worry about your county before taking cheap shots at others. Here you go: http://www.hoganstand.com/Article/Index/293762

Thanks for that post. It proves beyond doubt that you are completely ignorant and not worthy of any further attention.
What utter rubbiish.
I hadn't understood how in the dark you were and actually thought you had some knowledge of what goes on beyond Kerry.

I don't remember much soul searching from the Kingdom when Star and O'Sullivan gave Up work to become full time Kerry professionals. The hypocrisy and BS coming from yerraland has reached new depths.

Dublin GAA are receiving €1.5 million Euro of tax payer money every year and as a tax payer I'd like to know where my money is going,

Dublin are gone professional it's plain to see and it'l all come out eventually.

Go easy lads, you know the couple of bucks trolling on here are plastic Kerry men and what they say on football isn't of the hishgest stock.

They aren't reflective of the dignity the majority of the Kerry Gaa community hold themselves in my expierence. They real Kerry supporters know a great team when they see it and what goes into making it. A nicer and more knowledgeable lad on football like Genius Gerry you couldn't meet on here.

Happy new year to all and especially the real Kerry football community in the southwest. Hopefully more great days in your company ahead.

Should that read Dundalk? . We always believed the world was round in Offaly. As for Louth provincial and All Ireland titles, Well like most counties, it wouldn't be a lot.
Have a good 2019

Ha ha, I can imagine you in your local on the barstool banging on and on about Dublin night after night, you'd give even the most ardent Kerry fan head/ear/arse and every other kind of ache I'm sure. Get Michael and Danny to look into it with Lord Ross instead of protesting that their profits in their pubs will be down due to the fact their clientele can't drive home drunk anymore.

You should read this article from the Kingdom's Michael Moynihan, he puts to bed this fake news about Jim Gavin. Before you mouth off again about Dubs and money you might check the facts first.
