Except he's not the best player in Ireland. He's a great forward and has improved further, but he has a way to go yet to be considered close to that.
He scored a total of 2-9 in in 7 games in the year's championship, 1-8 of which was from play.
That's a long way off even being the best inside forward in the country.

Ball.ie rated him as the best footballer in Ireland right now, who our we to argue with Balls?
