I see the O'Byrne Cup draw for 2019 is available. No sign of what activity the hurlers will have preseason. An Offaly website has Offaly, Dublin and Carlow in a preliminary group with the winners going on to engage the "big three" Galway, Kilkenny and Wexford. No sign of Meath, Laois or Westmeath. I know we were not going to win it but outings against stronger counties contributed to recent improvements. Just wondering did we opt out or were we and the rest 'pushed out' again against our will.
