There will be red cards and goals today, the Galway defence isnt as tight as it was earlier in the year, Galway will try to keep it tight and hope the players that come on will win it for them they do have maybe better footballers on the subs than some that are starting..
but no one still cant compete with the Dublin bench. With O Sullivan and McCaffery back now its a better team Galway coming up against, if McCaffery didnt go off injured in the final last year Dublin would have won it a bit handier i think, and Howard is flying it now too.
Comer needs to get a goal or 2 today, but he also needs to keep his head up and look to assist goals instead of always looking to score them himself.
It will be close, Galway have players to come on that can have an impact but still Dublin have to much, Dublin by 3 or 4..

Not only did he travel on it, he was driving it. Big Joe's a legend in the capital. As honest as they come.

Replying To yew_tree:  "Is it not sold out? If we were there it would be a sell out no question...but we aren't :("
Definitely not sold out. Shocking really. Dublin in an all ireland semi final and croker isn't sold out. Just shows you the majority in Dublin couldn't care less. I think most reasonable people in Dublin realise it's not a level playing field and vote with their feet.

The GAA used to sell out croker for leinster championship matches between Dublin and the likes of meath, laois, wexford and kildare and sometimes that would only be a quater final. They got greedy and wanted Dublin winning all Irelands thinking it would boost the coffers. Backfired big time. They'd be taking in far more money now if that money was pumped into other counties.

Don't often waste time listening to RTE pundits but just switched on and heard Spillane saying 'Dublin don't play 15 men behind the ball they just track back' so every other team it's a blanket defence but when Dublin do it it's 'tracking back' and could someone in Tyrone not keep Sean Cavanagh at home and spare us all please for God's sake. rant over.

Dublin by 12 points. Can't see Galway getting closer. Not stirring but my honest opinion.

Listening to Colm O'Rourke, he's getting more bitter by the outing, time he was out to grass. Great footballer in his day alright. He's an awful cutting character. Spillane doesn't come accross as bad these days.

The semi-final should be a capital sellout. They're waiting for the final I suppose.

What an awful attendance for an All Ireland semi final.
Shame on both counties for not making an effort.

Ger Canning's fawning over Dublin is totally embarrassing.

He is an awful commentator full stop...game had no intensity really. Dublin playing within themselves. Galway kicking some nice scores but game has an invetability about it.

An awful lot of empty seats given the huge population and ease of access to the stadium

Not happy at half time , Dublin defence very lackadaisical, we have quality up front but some of the lads in the backs looking to be the star , big mistake by god in goal but he made up for it , Cooper and Philly need to step up big time as they are killing us , that said half time up by 2 have to be happy , I'd imagine some choice words in dressing room , hope to see Flynn
And MDM come in and make the difference along with Costello

Eamon Brannigan has never scored a goal in championship football. What I wonder was Kevin Walsh's thinking in having Brannigan take the penalty because I can't figure it out.Brannigan's head gione also since the penalty miss.Dublin fullback line can be got at.Armstrong very poor for Galway.Ian Burke excellent.

Galway are well in this game. If they can convert more of their chances and put some pressure on Dublin it could turn out to be a very interesting second half!
