Galway Vs Dublin

This will be one to watch; Galway won't play like the way they played today. Galway have a chance to come out on top here.

True, can they turn around their performance in 7 days? Possibly, although I don't think they will have enough for us this year if I'm honest. Should be a good game, though.

Haha Galway Vs Dublin, I take it this is a neutral game! :D

Be a tough tight game I'd imagine similar to the league final, who would have learned more or has more head room to kick on at this stage will be a factor, it's the third game between the two this year, a draw and a win for Dublin so far. We have a few more lads back then we did in the league. We will be confident without beiing hubris and give Galway total focus and respect.

I was secretly hoping to play Kerry to be honest, but if we had to play any opposition Galway's defensive approach and system could suits us, given our own approach this year.

Should be a good game.

Indeed, the GAA Amazonian jungle where the big, rich, powerful multi national with armed mercenaries comes up against the wee native tribe with it's peashooters and spears.

Will be a cake walk. Only Tyrone can stop us doing 4 in a row.

Playing Dublin in the league and competing is one thing, beating them in Croke Park in a huge, do or die all ireland semi final, where Dublin ooze experience and know how is quite another. Galway are capable of competing with Dublin, but cant see anything but a convincing Dublin win. But should Galway win, i hope they go on to win it. Winners of this win the whole thing. My prediction is Dublin by 8+

We have a great chance beating Dublin. If the ref is in our favour and we get about 5 soft frees. (IT HAPPENS) Dublin might crack, they have to lose someday and I think it's near.

I thought we would be fighting hard to stay in division 1 in the league. Galway supporters are never happy. In reality it's been a fantastic year whatever the outcome.

Hope Galway give them a game but after todays performance I think they Dubs will win this handy enough, Galway blew it today, momentum lost and a week to get ready for the Dubs.

No they don't, Dublin will win this by 5 points, 5 points to this Dublin team is like 15 points to every 1 else.

Wouldn't be quite certain about that.

You'll be more familiar with the last team to beat Dublin in the championship. Ye scraped past Armagh in the quarters because Jim had ye training for Dublin and Dublin only.

It looks like Galway have taken a pragmatic approach here (which I don't agree with) and will have been focussing on Dublin since the evening of the Kildare game.

I expect something a bit off the wall from Galway next week. Saying that, I don't think it will work and they don't deserve for it to work.

Dublin by 5

cant see anything but a comfortable Dublin win. Gavin even has the luxury of trying a few things and players out today in preparation. Ewan McKenna's analysis was ugly and spiteful but he was right when he talked about Galway winnng games when the opposition are reduced to 14 men. Dublin cruised the league final with 14 men. I expect them to win this by 6 or more

Surprised with many tipping Dublin for a comfortable win.

I expect it to be much tighter. The league games were tight, full blooded affairs. Only for Dublin probably to have a bit more in the tank in coming down the straight and better more experienced shot selection.

But i really rate Galway, apart from Dublin they have been the form team this year, so its probably the two best counties this year going toe to toe next week.

I think its far from straight forward and Galway with their tails up could do some damage and you could no, not be up for an All Ireland Semi final. A big physical team, well drilled with a few quality players who can damage if allowed.

Things going in Dublin favor are that we tend to have our best performances of the year in a Semi, Galways system we will be well versed in and we have the experience. Galway can be a bit erratic is their point taken and a re prone to a few mad wides. I also think with the system Galway play they will struggle to put up a score winning while Dublin will try and use that system against them. Also i wonder will there be a big traveling Galway support given the hurling etc.

DUblin have one less day to prepare for this then Galway though.

All to play for me, an ambush wouldn't surprise me to be honest and i definitely wouldn't be taking Galway for granted, thankfully this Dublin team never take anyone for granted.

Galway will be given total respect.

It happened yesterday in the second half alone.

No offense to Galway but this is going to be another turkey shoot for the dubs.
