I was at the game it was the best display I've ever seen from a goalkeeper it was incredible . BigJohn.6_8 (Galway) - Posts: 704 - 10/07/2018 11:18:36 2120311 Link 0 |
I read that quickly and had visions of a goalie whipping a clawhammer out of his shorts to ward off tacklers as he soloed up the field. Then I realised you meant his hamstring. Then I realised it was Curran you were on about and wasn't quite so sure again. Didn't he once approach the Galway keeper Alan Keane, when he put his gloves on before the throw in of a Galway v Ros game and gave him a hearty 'good luck' handshake with his own gloves coated in vaseline. Then he raced back to his goal and changed his own pair. Keane copped on though. John O'Mahony wasn't amused, I believe. A character aka gas man, Curran.

Yeah I remember that....... I think Curran was involved with the Laois team a few years back if i'm not wrong I think he wrote an article on how special he thought Graham Brody would become. He wasn't wrong lads on our Whatsap group from various counties are still talking about how good he was sunday and the disbelief of some of his saves!! I heard Fintan Kelly of Monaghan said its all his family talked about after the game :-) BigJohn.6_8 (Galway) - Posts: 704 - 12/07/2018 16:33:53 2121063 Link 0 |
