Féile Peil Na Nóg

(Oldest Posts First)

This year's Féile Peil na nÓg ran over three days Friday to this Sunday. Yet, there doesn't appear to be any results whatsover showing on the GAA website for any of the games. If I recall correctly, in other years the results were updated each day on the GAA website. Surely someone somewhere would have bee responsible for loading the results?

Anyone know where the results might be available for viewing?

Reading down through all the winners, it struck me that not one Dublin team won any of the 36 finals. Some amount of organisation goes into these competitions.

That's a pretty impressive dedicated website for the Feile football. Surprised then there there wasnt such a website for the hurling a few weeks ago.

The organisers this year seem to have done an excellent job. The whole thing ran very smoothly and we even commented on how the printed programme was much, much better to last years so it's no surprise that the website was top notch (though it did crash a few times across the weekend due to overload)

We had a few matches in Trim and were stunned at the organisation there as well. Multitudes of stewards and officials, who wer super roganised and helpful, even to the point of having some junior club members go around the spectators offering glasses of water on what was a very hot weekend for players, officials and observers.

So full makrks to the organisers for a fantastic weekend.

And as an aside. Trim GAA facilities - wow!
