Going to be a great match, Galway to come out on top by four; Maybe after extra time.

I think it will be a great match.Let's hope the good weather holds.Galway are rightly favourites but I'd expect Roscommon to give it a good go.I'm looking forward to it and we have it in Hyde Park.

It will probably be back to the shawl defence for the rossies,in fairness the the rossies have very good forwards and the mutagh bros with cathal
Cregg will need watching.galway looked good yesterday but seemed to have plenty of time on the ball,it will be a tight affair.galeay were hurt by last year's defeat so plenty of motivation for this one.like mayo & Galway games the last couple of years the motivation for mayo was there but couldn't get the win, could it be something similar for Galway??

Galway were probably "favorites" the last 2 times Roscommon beat us. Strange how we can beat Mayo, but can't beat Roscommon, then Mayo goes further than us both. Very strange.

Roscommon expect to run away with it again this year but I think Galway have tightened up a bit all around and just might sneak it. Gaillimh Abu

I don't think any roscommon supporter is thinking like that to be honest!

He can't do that Cuckoosinging he only has 8 months to talk about them back in training for the league so they'll be faster fitter and better than any team in February to try and avoid the drop to division 3

I think this game will tell us a lot about Galway and their credentials as potentially one of the top teams.

Last year, after beating Mayo for the 2nd year running, everyone (well most people) expected Galway to kick on and challenge for a semi-final place at least. Roscommon fairly humiliated Galway on Galway's home patch though. It's less than 12 months on from that humiliation and the scene is quite familiar with Galway coming in as warm favourites after beating Mayo again and a very good league campaign.

Roscommon know that they can beat Galway and with the game in the Hyde you'd expect that this can give this a right rattle. They're defending Connacht Champions which shouldn't be forgotten.

I think it is a hard game to call but one I'm looking forward to.

If you look back am not sure we were favs for the 2016 final in Salthill and less so for the replay. Definitely we were favs last year. Favs only a tag. Means nothing when two teams are pretty close. 50/50 game.

Very hard to know where we're at, solid if unspectacular league campaign, particularly compared to how Galway fared in D1 and we learned very little against Leitrim.

I thought Galway might be slightly over hyped on the evidence of the league, but you have to hand it to them, they've been quite impressive en route to the Connacht Final.

Galway will rightly go in as favourites and will want revenge for the sound beating they got in Salthill last year. I can't see them going into the game with any measure of complacency that may have been there last year. That said, I'd expect McStay to have a sound game plan in place to deal with their attacking power and their relative strength around the middle and their kickout will be targeted similar to last year. If that game plan is executed with the same confidence and precision as they displayed in last year's final, it'll be pretty close.

Home advantage and impressive forwards should swing it for Ros by a couple of points, slight favourites

Wouldn't put a cent on this game , head says Galway just feel they have more match winners , that said I'd have put my mortgage on Monaghan last week to win , really looking forward to it

Hoping Galway have learned a lot from last year and there's zero chance of complacency. They'll take the field in roscommon with a point to prove and I believe our attacking prowess will just see us over the line. Galway by 3
