Stupid disrespectful post. Just shows the contempt for the so called lesser teams displayed in the GAA.

You think Parnell Park is fit for much better??

Nope Parnell Park is poor, nearly as bad as Aughrim, with piss poor facilites and piss poor parking around it. Tight ptich with the sideline (dangerously) close to the wall. It like Aughrim can hold two division 4 teams but after that nada. What's arrogant about that? It is simply fact about the quality of the stadiums witnof (Dublin) - Posts: 1604 - 01/06/2018 10:16:25 2106189 Link 2 |
Parnell Park might be poor. But it's a great ground for atmosphere when there's a full house.

I agree about atmosphere, that's why our hurlers are hard to beat there but a walk over in Croker. But even if we do not like it the GAA have to consider health and safety etc. And are forced to by the authorities. I like Aughrim...love the road in...but you cannot have a game with 10 000 people there. Be honest. Would be great craic but we all know the issues. witnof (Dublin) - Posts: 1604 - 02/06/2018 11:40:41 2106433 Link 0 |
