Replying To Past hurler:  "In fairnsss to London, they would never beat Kerry and Carlow as they would be a good bit ahead of them and Meath have upped it in the last few years too. Sure Kerry bet Kildare by 30pts in the Christy Ring semi final 3 years ago.
Kildare and London could well meet in the Christy Ring.
I couldn't call it, be a fairly evenly matched game."
Yea London are a good bit off Kerry and Carlow at the moment but I think they would put up a better fight against them now than in February when they weren't long back together with lots of new players.

Good win for them away in Derry. I fancy Derry to make the knockouts still. They have Armagh away next then Down at home. Two games I expect them to win.

Kildare are looking strong after their win over Roscommon. Mayo could give them a surprise this weekend if Keith Higgins is back?

Wicklow too. PJ Nolan is a big addition for them.

Don't think p.j Nolan is a huge addition to be honest hurled against him and see him playn the last few years and seems to be carrying injuries all the time to be fair to him..

I actually think Kerry or Carlow would annihilate London it they met them now. Kerry bet Laois by 10pts at the weekend and London wouldn't keep up with Laois at all. Carlow would do similar. I think London could give Meath a good rattle though.

Keith Higgins had a fantastic league with Mayo hurlers but with him back with the footballers not sure if he will be released again to play Christy ring Hurling in 2018.

We didnt hammer London a few months ago in the league, it was very tight for 55 minutes.

London will be better after a few months training.

Replying To beir_bua:  "The team has been on a downward spiral since Gerry Keegan emigrated. The two Kennys now playing in Tipp. Two excellent hurlers in Johnny Byrne and Fergal Conway committed to the footballers.

Joe Quaid was struggling for numbers and stuffed the team full of imports last year which was short termism at its finest. Too many good native hurlers now won't commit and most of the Naas players who have serious recent underage pedigree are too young for senior hurling yet.

I think we will struggle in the Christy Ring."
Delighted to be spectacularly wrong!
