Galway got clean out in the backs so that's a big worry for me. Limerick did what Galway did to Waterford in leauge last year. Good luck drive on now limerick. For Galway they were in cruise control and fell asleep all Ireland champions can be a hard title to hold on today's performances a lot of worried Galway fans heartbroken (Galway) - Posts: 370 - 11/03/2018 16:32:08 2083401 Link 0 |
We'll put it this way, if galway meet Limerick in championship. Galway will win. They're really not too bothered about playing in 1A

Well done Limerick. They needed win more than us. But ffs, this was poor stuff from Galway hurlers. "Strolling around" the pitch. J.C sideline cut in last minute, barely left the ground. From a man who has put them over from the half way line in the last 5 years! galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2513 - 11/03/2018 17:37:23 2083436 Link 0 |
The way this game unfolded was eerily similar to the Galway-Waterford quarter final last year. Well done to Limerick. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 996 - 11/03/2018 18:28:59 2083495 Link 1 |

Get a grip. It was Joe's and Davey Burke's first bit of action tbis year and Daithi Burke has to come in at full back.

Agreed. Galway were beaten because Limerick were simply the better team. They were far superior in the second half. A lot of work to do for our lads. Congrats to Limerick on promotion.

You could say it was more similar to the Wexford game in the league last year. Winning by 7 or 8 points and cruising and end up losing by a point.

Fairly poor form for some of the "fans" to be leaving before the end with only a point or two in it. 890202 (Wexford) - Posts: 1278 - 11/03/2018 21:47:05 2083663 Link 0 |

that was a disgraceful incident involving adrian touhy,there is no condoning that sort of behaviour. perfect10 (Wexford) - Posts: 3929 - 12/03/2018 11:30:48 2083876 Link 1 |
Delighted for Limerick. It just shows what they can do when they put their mind to it. Limerick - as nearly always - will be a force in the championship.

I agree, the Limerick player who interfered with Touhys' helmet should have seen the line.

Indeed, Wexford will be on goolie alert next Sunday after that.

Rubbish. Galway wanted to win that game yesterday in order to get promoted.I wouldn't be too confident of the result if they were to meet again either, certainly not as confident as you seem to be.

Having not actually witnessed any of the incident, but having read several articles on said incident, I have to say I'm outraged.
