Have to agree no matter who won they both served up great hurling

Con really stepped up there at the end after having it tough over the two games

Caps off what is probably up there as one of greatest seasons in GAA history.

I wonder will we see him back in blue for the Div 1 final? Prob best to let him have a break

Two brilliant opportunist goals were the difference, amazing achievement by Cuala it really was, hard luck to Na Piarsaigh, an excellent team.

My god the Cuala centre back was outstanding. He caught ball after ball.
As good an individual display as you would see.
Cuala has just that bit of extra class around the field when it counted.
Hats off to Na Piarsaigh, they kept fighting back until the very end!

Great game, some of the defending by Cuala was fantastic particularly the full back Cian O Callaghan & the entire half back line. Also the skill of na Piarsaigh forwards especially no 13 Breen. You just have to admire the manliness in hurling who get on with it compared to football.

Cuala definately deserved it. It wasn't any extra 'class' though because Na Piarsaigh have the classier hurlers. But that means nought. It was being level headed and running at the defence drawing frees. Con O Callagahan finished very well and the centre back was outstanding.

Cualas defence was a lot superior aswel. Cian o Callaghan used all his Inter county experience at ful back.
Agreed, NAP backs coughed up a lot of frees.

Well done Cuala back to back champions outstanding achievement a credit to all involved their backs were outstanding especially Cian O Callaghan and Moran , Tracey is a great hurler but no way is he a county free taker how many did he miss to kill the game ? Con came good at the end when needed most. Outstanding from cuala class acts

Unlucky to the limerick man never gave up and did their club and county proud , no doubt they will be back really soon to win a title class team.

Watched most of the second half. Some battle. Very enjoyable. Tough on NP, probably should have closed it out last Saturday but you have to hand it to Cuala. 2 in a row at club level is some achievement. Well done

As a neutral watching, I thought both teams were a credit over the two days. However, the man in the middle today was truly shocking imo and was a major factor in Cuala's win. That said, Cuala's rise over recent years in a non typical GAA territory is inspiring and I don't begrudge them their glory at all!

You are right. Thing is Na Piarsaigh are from non typical GAA territory too.. Ref was bad again. Some of his decisions were very bad.

It's natural to think your team was hard done by when you lose.

Yeah full back was a massive loss he had a good game and a half on Con , frees thing is way off both got frees that we're questionable but on the day the best team won no doubt about that , 1 down in injury time to score that next 4 tells you about the character of this Cuala team class acts. Let's be honest Na Piarsaigh threw this game away in Croker when they were easily the better team but just couldn't finish the deal on the day. But I have no doubts they will be back to win another All Ireland.

Hit the nail on the head. Cuala were the better side yesterday and won. Na Piarsaigh were the better side the first day and didn't close it out. 2 excellent club sides that are miles ahead of 99% of clubs out there. The squads they have are huge and the quality. I think medium sized clubs will never win another club All Ireland
