Both teams for different reasons about the same level. Both teams can give Dublin a bit of a game for about 40 minutes. Tyrone are not a top 4 team. There's a top 3 and a chasing pack who won't win anything and we're in that chasing pack.

There's only one thing to help brighten a sloopy day and that is that from small beginnings good things grow. Maybe the monaghans, Tyrones and kildares and donegals are all training with the super 8s in mind. We are all tired of the one way traffic of the Dublins and Kerrys. Please God some others can bridge the gap this year. Mayo will be without Cillian ó Connor for a few games after today.

Watched the highlights last night and I thought O'Se was very harsh and negative on the Kildare Tyrone game. I thought it was good for the time of year with snow falling at the start of the game and a strong wind on a heavy pitch. 35 scores with Mattie Donnellys and McShanes point kicking excellent scores. Cribben and Kelly scored some fantastic points for Kildare. It was tight and exciting all the way to the end and it was played in a hard but fair manner.
He praised the Dublin Donegal game. The first half was a turkey shoot, Dublin dominating but was a good second half.
I like O'Se just think he was wrong on this occasion.

Take a bow Mattie Donnelly, what a score that was. He is such a great player, one of the best in the country. Thought that was a great result for Tyrone, really dug in and got the result. Lee Brennan is a great talent and great performances from Cathal McShane and Padraig McNulty, was surprised MH took him off.

Kildare were unlucky as the game could have swung either way. Both teams hit some poor wides so plenty to work on. It was a decent game to watch in poor enough conditions. Both teams played in a similar vein, lots of men back and then trying to break at speed. Hard to know if Tyrone have improved from last year but Lee Brennan is definitely a big plus.
