There was 691 at the McGrath Cup final between Cork and Clare. Apparently a very big crowd at the Fermanagh Tyrone game. Stand was full 30 mins before throw in.

Probably had more to do with the sending off than being clueless. Davy Fitzgerald is very experienced in what to do tactically in these scenarios.

No i was there. it was a clear casd of Dublin loosing their way. And being clueless. Carlow were down to 14 for most of game and Wexford just sraped by them. i am only commenting on what i saw. i am sure Cuala players will make a positive impact later

What attendances are people predicting for the upcoming league games? Personally, I think we will see record crowds this year across the country. Starting off in Cork in the new PUC with Cork Tipp and Cork Kilkenny under lights should be hitting 15,000-20,000. Dublin's double header as well will hopefully be close to 30,000.
There have been some strong crowds already in the Preseason Competitions such as
5,000 in Enniskillen for Fermanagh vs. Tyrone
3000 in the Hyde yesterday for Mayo/Ros
3200 at Gaelic Grounds for Clare v Limerick

Well if there are record attendances it is only because people are hungry to attend matches after the winter. As a competition the league in both hurling and football has been reduced in value and status to the level of an O'Byrne Cup or Walsh Cup by the new championship structure. You are going to see loads of quirky results in the top divisions that won't be repeated in the championship proper. I really liked the competitiveness of the league as it was but this year I will attend very few league games cos this year, and for the next 3 years at least, it will not come near to reflecting the true quality or otherwise of the top teams.
