This year's Leinster club senior football championship final looks a close one to call. We'll use this thread to discuss the game which takes place on December 10th at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise.

I think Moorefield came out of the harder side of the draw having beaten Portlaoise away and Rathnew away while St Loman's were impressive when beating Mullinalaghta and Simonstown after trailing by considerable margins on both occasions. I will go for Moorefield by one in a low scoring game.

I didn't think Moorefield would win Kildare & even after that, I didn't think they would go far in Leinster so to more or less guarantee a victory for a Kildare team I'm going to go for an easy win for Lomans !

Luke Dempsey knows Moorefield well, the lomans forward line will just have too much for Moorefield I feel, heslin ,dempsey and ken casey as strong as any club full forward line in ireland...Lomans to edge it for me

I'm going for Moorefield because they stopped the sash going for 3 in a row in the Kildare semi final with 14 players, they won the co final easy enough with 13 players they beat portlaoise in portlaoise with 14 players and they beat rathnew in aughrim easy enough too with 14 players, it's going to be much harder against st. lomans but eanan o'connor will cancel out john heslin and the moors defence will see them through, I think.

Five red cards in four games! Moorefield always had problems with discipline. Remember 2007 when they were reigning Leinster champions and their fiery quarter final clash with Dromard. They had three or four players suspended for the semi final which they lost to Tyrrellspass.

Was at last 4 of Moorefields games and they improved from game to game. A lot of focus on Cian O'Connor which might mark him out as one to watch but it was other players who drew a lot of the frees converted by him. Hurley Lynch will bag at least one goal unless he is well man marked . Moorefield are very dogged and fight to the end.

Thats incorrect. Portlaoise were the ones with only 14 players. Mind you how moorefield hadnt one or two red carded is beyond me.

Lomans id say will shade it, but could go either way, I'm designated driver for a few friends, looking forward to a good game, from a neutral POV.

Expect Moorefield to win this one. They love football this time of the year, great team to grind out a victory. Lomans full bck line weak.

Yes St Loman's full back line has been found wanting in previous games. They started a regular midfielder at number 3 against Simonstown and they looked all over the place until John Heslin got to grips at midfield. Their first choice full back got sent off in the county final and hasn't been seen since. Luke Dempsey might just have a trick or two up his sleeve. He has lots of options off the bench and I would say a stronger squad than Moorefield.

You said after the Simonstown game that you had 'no doubt' St. Lomans would win Leinster. Hedging your bets a bit now.

If the full back line is suspect you can bet Hurley Lynch will bag at least one goal. Theres no stand out man to mark with Moorefield their main strength is their teamwork. If Heslin is off form or marshalled Moorefield will have a strong chance of winning.

Moorefield have done so well to get this far without Adam Tyrell and Ryan Houlihan. Both lads wouldn't be far off the county set up?

Two right good footballers. Both have recently gone away with the army
