New Kilkenny jersey

IMO Butt ugly. What happened to collars? Why do most Jersey's now have what I call "steroid sleeves" which along w/being uncomfortable are really ugly. I'm all for function over form but see failure at both. I miss collar $ haven't been willing to spend the crazy price for one( fake 2 stripe US version on top of it all being in the US). Sleeves really get me though, they're almost as tight as the jeans I see that are so popular in Ire ;-) That said, it's only a jersey

Replying To bloodyban:  "An abomination that spits on the face of history.Kilkenny are on a downward spiral. The design is shockingly bad. Black on one shoulder totally breaking up the stripes. The Kilkenny crest is totally overshadowed and that crest itself is Terrible.
Name one team in sport with stripes that have done this. Stripey clad teams from Sheffield United to deportiva la coruna must be wondering ; 'are we next'?."
It's a cruel cruel world.

Looks a bit like the Puma design that quite a few soccer clubs have used over the past few years so to the poster who thinks other teams with stripes should be afraid, very afraid, I believe Southampton had an almost identical design and if memory serves me, Newcastle, too.

Has anybody seen the back of it? I've only seen the front of it , be interesting to see if the black patch is on the back too.

There isnt a whole lot you can do with that garish sponsor logo.

We had the same thing in Kildare. Cool white stripes on white sleeves like Real Madrid but undermined by a giant picture of Ham.

I'm disgusted with the jersey, it's rotten. As well as the messing around with the stripes, I hate the round collar, and the stripes are supposed to be amber, not fecking yellow! I've had a sense that O'neill's have being diluting the amber in the past number of designs but this is taking the biscuit.

Replying To Whammo86:  "Wouldn't be my cup of tea.

It annoys me when county jerseys mess around with the traditional designs too much. I didn't like the old Mayo jerseys that got rid of the hoop or the messing around with the Wexford design."
Couldn't agree more with you

Thoughts on the new Waterford jersey? They will never better the Yop jersey.
