Not a great day for your hurling pick but based on what I saw today your football pick might not be 100 miles off track. Cill Chathra were magnificent as they dismantled Scotstown in Clones. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 29/10/2017 18:51:24 2058991 Link 0 |
Kilcar did impress today but this is a tired Scotstown team, who some how managed to win the county title. Paddy McBreathy was electric but i did feel brannigan didn't give Scotstown what he gave Kilcar, that being said it wouldn't have made a difference. Scotstown need a new manager, have gone backwards under Donnelly this year. Their county players didn't perform with the exception of McCarthy. On the other hand the McHughs and Mcbreathys stood up for Kilcar. shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1928 - 29/10/2017 20:24:54 2059007 Link 0 |
Aye theyre a great side to watch alright. I was a little wary of Thurles Sarsfields....seem to always mess up in Munster, great side though.

Great goal by Diarmuid Connolly and also had an outstanding game. fainleog (Limerick) - Posts: 598 - 30/10/2017 23:41:15 2059193 Link 0 |
For the football side of it the Corofin v Castlebar winner will take serious stopping, as will Slaughtneil. I don't think Dr Crokes will retain it, though I expect them to come through Munster. St Vincent's to come through Leinster but I reckon Connacht champions will account for them. DoireCK (Derry) - Posts: 162 - 31/10/2017 09:14:08 2059216 Link 0 |
Anytime Na Piarsaig have won the Limerick county final, they have gone on to win the Munster Club Final and they have done so three times this decade. Na Piarsaig have a number of county players and also U21 All-Ireland winners. I believe they will win the Munster Club Hurling. fainleog (Limerick) - Posts: 598 - 31/10/2017 11:30:20 2059253 Link 1 |
You reckon Slaughtneil are home & hosed in Ulster? Interesting. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 31/10/2017 11:32:46 2059256 Link 0 |
Also you think it will be a Corofin v Castlebar final?? The 2013 AI champs may have something to say about that

Gort is a decent shout to win Galway but they haven't the forwards to win an All Ireland

Its true. I think Gort will win Galway but don't think they have the forwards or the 1 or 2 'superstars' that's required to win Ireland club champ outright

Rosfan, have Brigids improved from the 14 points they got beaten by last year by Corofin. There was big talk here in Galway that Corofin may have gone back following the Semi final against Annaghdown, but their performance in the county final made a mockery of that notion and they looked stronger than last year. If Brigids have improved that much the bookies haven't noticed looking at the Connacht betting with Corofin at 5/6. Are the men from Kiltoom that improved?
