Kilkenny need to find players so this won't help.

The GAA shouldn't take action against the lads.

It is very, very bad what went on, though. It's over and beyond boys will be boys.

I wouldn't be too harsh on the individuals involved, people do stupid stuff where they are drunk. I've done some mad stuff in the past and I wouldn't say that what happened isn't something that I could have found myself involved with.

It doesn't make it alright though.

It shouldn't be condoned either.

The Pope only watches Senior Club Hurling games. He gets his cardinals to watch the Intermediates. They might be guilty of a cardinal sin....

My reply was blocked. Not acceptable at any celebration, sport or otherwise. But it goes on and is accepted, drink-fuelled stupidity.

I see shameful aul conservative catholic Ireland is at it again, condeming people for having fun! There was nothing wrong with the party, just peopld enjoying themselves, what's wrong with that?

Even as we speak Donald Trump is watching it on a loop looking for pointers.

The whole concept of this lads banter turns me to be honest. It's like getting a free past to treat people horriblely and use the excuse of "lads banter.""
It was sent to all the parents of the u10 team. Someone sent it to the wrong WhatsApp group.

You have it all wrong there boss.

There's common decency and standards of behaviour be one christian, agnostic or atheist. Any oul excuse for a go at the Church.

What went on in Ballyregret was just sleazey. Do you want a Hugh Heffner style sleaze to permeate our communities? Is your idea of fun having an overweight 'escort' fill the victory cup with her munificent bounty? That's some definition of fun.

It is 100% up to the lads when a number of them coach underage teams in the club. If you can't see it as unacceptable it says a lot about you.

There's also other consequences. Young children of 7-12 will hear all sorts of half truths in schools and parents have to explain what went on. Not really good for a community.

They do but I am not sure how many of those lads are inter-county standard anyway with the exception of Kevin Kelly who is already a big part of Cody's plans. He scored 3-11 in the semi-final and 0-10 in the final. He'll be glad of the step up to senior level at club next year by the looks of things.

I'd say Cody will be keeping a close eye on Dicksboro vs his beloved James Stephens in the county final. If he can find another Cillian Buckley or two within the Dicksboro ranks he'll be a happy man.

In fairness nobody needs a reason to have a go at the church, their appalling record in this country speaks for itself, anyway I'll say no more about them.

I wouldn't call it sleazy, again it's just a group of people having fun, and anyway why are we so prudish in this country? I mean sex is fun is it not? if it wasn't not many of us (if any of us) would be here and none of the lads were having sex that I could see anyway, so it was actually quite a tame party.

Maybe the GAA should ban all members who have been in a stripclub or with an escort?

So you call that something silly. 2 lads in Kildare get suspended for lifting the cup that is something silly. This is something totally different. Would you not think .

A pretty tame party!!

Are you trying to tell us the parties you attend have coke and a higher quality of 'escort'. You sound dry enough on here.

I'd prefer Fanta and a good Fiesta. Them escorts are over-rated!

Not a thread to argue about the church. But seen as you can get away with castigating them i'll stand up for the good work the church has done.

You have a bit of a church chip from threads i've read.
